Sure, New Super Mario Bros. U Deluxe might be yet another Wii U game re-released on the Switch, but it boasts a huge number of levels, filled to the brim with platforming greatness. Even though it's been six years since its original release, the overall experience holds up very well.

Gear.Club Unlimited 2 isn't a bad game by any means. Like its predecessor, it's a competent racing game on a console that has a racing sim drought, but I was just expecting a bit more. As a big fan of racing games, both sim and arcade, it's hard to recommend at full price. And if the developers intend on making a third entry in the franchise, I hope that they take a long look at how to innovate this series, rather than iterate it.

Omen of Sorrow est un petit jeu de baston indépendant qui vient marcher sur les plates-bandes des plus grands. On y trouve une jouabilité plutôt rigide et austère, mais assez profonde et qui donne envie de s'y intéresser, et ce d'autant plus que certains personnages sont très originaux. Mais ces derniers sont malheureusement trop peu nombreux, uniquement une douzaine avant l'arrivée de DLC. Les modes de jeu se contentent eux aussi du minimum, avec un contenu solo tout juste complet et des fonctionnalités en ligne sommaires mais solides. Du coup, malgré sa jouabilité assez réussie, on reste un peu sur notre faim. Et si le prix de lancement paraît élevé, n'oublions pas que c'est encore pire avec les grosses productions. En tous cas, c'est un premier jet intéressant de la part du studio AOne Games, à conseiller aux férus du Versus Fighting.

PUBG arriva su PlayStation 4 imparando dai suoi stessi errori. Probabilmente si tratta di uno dei rari casi nei quali il ritardo rispetto all'esclusiva su Xbox ha in qualche modo permesso ai giocatori di giovare di un titolo al meglio delle sue possibilità, senza per questo limitarsi nei contenuti e nel divertimento arrecato. Se quello che cercate è un'alternativa meno scanzonata e più tattica e realistica alle scorribande di Fortnite, PUBG potrebbe fare al caso vostro. Ammesso e considerato che siate pronti a scontrarvi con un sistema di controllo macchinoso ed un titolo ben lontano dalla formula Free to Play.

Battle Princess Madelyn encantará a los fans de la acción arcade retro, y en especial, del estilo Ghost'n Goblins. Puede que su modo historia sea un poco áspero, quizá no apto para todos los gustos, y con una dificultad alta... pero a poco que te atraiga la fórmula, bajo su apariencia late un digno heredero de la fórmula de Capcom.

Warhammer: Vermintide 2 ci ha messo un bel po' per arrivare anche su PlayStation 4, ma gli sviluppatori hanno approfittato delle tempistiche per migliorare ulteriormente l'esperienza e renderla ancora più convincente. La formula cooperativa messa a punto da Fatshark, palesemente ispirata a quella del classico Left 4 Dead, funziona dannatamente bene e viene coadiuvata da un'ambientazione affascinante, strapiena di nemici molto più numerosi e variegati rispetto al passato, boss inclusi. L'eccellente sistema di progressione che regola la crescita dei personaggi, lo sblocco delle classi, l'equipaggiamento e le missioni stesse, mantiene sempre vivo l'interesse, supportato da una struttura online robusta. Il risultato è un action cooperativo appassionante e ben confezionato, perfetto da giocare con gli amici.
