L'extension orageuse Fortune Island offre une pluie de contenus supplémentaires à ceux qui auraient déjà fait le tour des défis proposés en Grande-Bretagne. Bien que les tracés tortueux mettent en avant le pilotage offroad audacieux, les nouvelles conditions climatiques n'altèrent pas la conduite de base de Forza Horizon 4. Plus que sur son contenu au final très proche de celui du titre d'origine (mais à terminer en moins de 5 heures), c'est plutôt dans ses éclairages et dans sa météo inédite que ce DLC séduit. Le fait d'avoir remplacé les trésors de grange par des coffres à dénicher en réussissant des énigmes est une idée sympathique, mais nous aurions préféré voir de nouveaux rassemblements.

Fortune Island è la ciliegina su una torta già ricchissima e gustosa. Se avete già esplorato ogni strada del Regno Unito o siete stanchi del vostro castello situato nel cuore di Edimburgo, salpate alla volta di Fortune Island, nuova ambientazione che si rivela tanto particolare quanto divertente, capace di valorizzare auto e attività che magari avete utilizzato meno di frequente nel capitolo principale. Una grande varietà di attività e qualche piacevole aggiunta come la caccia al tesoro, oltre alle nuove zone d’esplorazione e a scenari da capogiro faranno in modo di rendere indimenticabili le vostre ore trascorse a Fortune Island. E fidatevi, saranno tante!

Forza Horizon 4: Fortune Island is a more earnest slab of DLC aimed at the hardcore fans compared to the studio’s previous wacky work on Forza Horizon 3: Hot Wheels, and I like it a lot. Routes inspired by the some of the world’s most-loved driving roads, a 10-round treasure hunt powered by clues that reward being a car geek, and all wrapped up in the unbeatable Forza Horizon formula? I think it’s going to be a while before I think about heading back to the mainland.

Insurcengy: Sandstorm non è un titolo per tutti, e non lo scriviamo solo perché manca di quella modalità single player che molti giocatori ritengono essenziale, ma anche perché la struttura di gioco potrebbe spaventare i fruitori di titoli più "tradizionali". L'aspetto grafico non contribuisce ad ampliare la platea di giocatori interessati ma, se si scava appena oltre alle apparenze, ci si trova di fronte ad un ottimo FPS online, addirittura insuperabile una volta indossate le cuffie. Le mappe non sono molte ma sono studiate perfettamente; anche le modalità di gioco sono un po' striminzite e non prevedono nulla più che un team contro team, eppure quello che c'è funziona molto bene ed è anche molto coinvolgente. In poche parole, un ottimo shooter multiplayer in grado di garantire ore di divertimento.

Recalling Namco’s Assault (albeit without the tank controls), Blue Rider is a solid shooter, where players can rotate the environment while they move about freely. While the game can feel a bit bare-boned, the old-school action is certainly engaging.

Big Bash Boom is a fun, flashy, family-friendly cricket game that takes the raucousness of the BBL and WBBL competitions, and ratchets up the razzle dazzle. Unfortunately its absence of additional gameplay modes, presentational cutbacks, and a miserly unlockable system hold it back from being a direct hit, particularly as a full-priced release.

Gris is an incredible achievement, using its art, music, and gameplay to tell a thematically consistent story about a woman overcoming her grief. Despite the weighty subject matter, the way its protagonist’s triumph over sorrow is reflected in increasingly fluid and diverse platforming makes it a joy to play. While Gris is low on challenge and impossible to fail, it still feels exciting. Even if it doesn’t sound like your kind of game, Gris absolutely deserves a try.
