Shadow of the Tomb Raider è, come si suol dire, il "more of the same" definitivo di questa trilogia reboot. Purtroppo i problemi (prettamente tecnici) del titolo non mi permettono di promuoverlo a pieni voti. In ogni caso non abbiate paura, Shadow of the Tomb Raider è comunque un ottimo titolo. Se avete amato i capitolo precedenti, sicuramente troverete in questo finale tutto ciò che cercate ed anche di più. Consiglio l'acquisto a tutti gli amanti del genere, Shadow of the Tomb Raider non vi deluderà!

Si Shadow of The Tomb Raider ne se révèle pas être la révolution que pouvaient attendre les joueurs de la part du dernier opus d’une trilogie, le jeu a tout de même le mérite de montrer des séquences spectaculaires et appréciables, grâce à une très bonne maîtrise quant aux graphismes, à la bande sonore et au gameplay en lui-même. L’histoire devrait vous captiver du début à la fin, tant le travail scénaristique est bon et la réalisation à couper le souffle. On notera d’ailleurs le travail incroyable des développeurs pour proposer une expérience des plus réalistes et immersives, via les améliorations visuelles des personnages et leur psychologie, qui place, selon nous, Shadow of The Tomb Raider dans le haut du panier de cette année 2018.

Valkyria Chronicles 4 is the true sequel to Valkyria Chronicles, released ten years ago, and has learned from some of the failings of the original. Expanded upon, the strategy elements have never been better, with utterly fantastic storytelling and characterisation to be found within the RPG aspect. This isn't to say the game is perfect, with it still having flaws in the strategy by focusing too much on speed, rather than tactics, as well as having poor balancing issues later on in the game. In addition to this, there are some quality of life issues as it makes you drop back to the menu after every scene, some of which are only thirty seconds long, as well as requiring too many button clicks in the headquarters where you upgrade units and weaponry. Outside of these minor issues, Valkyria Chronicles 4 is undoubtedly the best game I've played so far in 2018.

Black Clover: Quartet Knights è un buon titolo che i fan dello show sicuramente apprezzeranno. Attraverso una breve ma inedita storia e un multiplayer accattivante, è possibile vivere un’esperienza molto divertente che basa tutto sulle relazioni tra i personaggi e sull’azione tipica dell’anime. Purtroppo però, oltre ad alcuni problemi tecnici al momento presenti, c’è la sensazione che in questo titolo ci siano pochi contenuti. Sia per via del roster ridotto o per le poche ricompense destinate ai giocatori più assidui, la ripetitività getta una grande ombra in quello che altrimenti sarebbe stato un eccellente inizio per l’esordio videoludico di Black Clover. Lo stesso può essere detto del gameplay, il quale è pieno di buone idee ma con diverse pessime scelte di design.

SNK Heroines: Tag Team Frenzy was created with a specific audience in mind, and if you’re not in that audience, you can do much better. The fighter just isn’t particularly enjoyable to play, with a tepid combat engine and poor Switch performance.

From plot to aesthetics, Metal Max Xeno feels dated. For those accustomed to modern role-playing comforts, this could be a turn-off. But for those eager to experience an entry in the Metal Max experience, searching for 2006’s Metal Saga or playing this are roughly comparable experiences.

Wasteland 2 è un RPG a turni vecchia scuola, un titolo ostico che nella versione Switch soffre di problemi tecnici e di adattamento. Superare la somma dei due ostacoli non è facile, ma la versione portatile delle Director's Cut recupera qualcosa sul piano tecnico e con un approccio paziente può diventare un'esperienza di grande spessore da portarsi a spasso, un concentrato della storia dei giochi di ruolo a turni post-nucleari e l'ennesimo titolo di spessore nella sempre più ricca libreria di Switch.
