Warface is a fun port of a first person shooter that came out in 2013 for PC. The game isn't the most unique, but it's fun nonetheless. The PvP and PvE options are fun and offer ways to fight alongside or against your fellow gamers. The game feels approachable even if you're not the best at fps games. The free to play aspect is a huge bonus as well.

Monster Hunter Generations Ultimate per Nintendo Switch è il miglior Monster Hunter portatile di sempre, probabilmente il titolo più longevo (al lancio) della saga. Il porting, se pur lusinghiero, non riesce a non tradire le radici su 3DS e il salto generazionale che sarebbe potuto avvenire in “ambito portable” non è ancora realtà. Al netto di un’obsolescenza rimarcata in maniera impietosa dall’arrivo di Monster Hunter: World, questo capitolo è un’occasione imperdibile per i puristi che amano la difficoltà e la macchinosità della serie originari e che non vogliono dire addio al vecchio ciclo prima di avervi fatto un’ultima, prolungata e temeraria visita. Per i nuovi utenti è caldamente consigliato di prendere il titolo con le pinze e di cimentarvici solamente se alla ricerca dell’essenza più ostica della saga, o per continuare un viaggio che potrebbe essersi quasi esaurito, dopo aver apprezzato ogni venatura del magnifico nuovo mondo.

A livello di contenuti l'offerta di FIFA 19 è decisamente più ricca e allettante di quella del suo diretto avversario PES 2019. EA ha modificato il gameplay e implementato alcune interessanti feature (50/50 Battles e il Timed Finishing su tutte) per dare un tocco di imprevedibilità a una simulazione che stava diventando troppo leggibile in certe situazioni di gioco. La possibilità di modificare le tattiche di gioco sulla falsariga di Football Manager è un'altra addizione importante, mentre permangono dubbi sulle leggi fisiche che regolano il mondo di FIFA. Il pallone continua rimbalzare in modo innaturale e torna il classico “effetto Super Tele”. L'IA ai livelli più alti esprime un buon calcio e trame offensive degne di un Sarri o di un Guardiola. È persino diventata più “generosa” in fase realizzativa: i momenti (nessuno ha detto “momentum”!) in cui la CPU deve segnare a tutti i costi sono diminuiti. Giocando a livelli più “umani” la CPU concede più spazi e limita la sua aggressività. Anche gli sbandamenti difensivi dello scorso anno sono uno sbiadito ricordo, mentre i portieri sembrano aver trovato un sottile equilibrio tra parate al limite dell'impossibile e papere colossali. Per quanto riguarda le modalità di gioco, l'ampia personalizzazione dei match è una bella aggiunta, mentre l'assenza di novità per Carriera (c'è la Champions, ma sono rimasti alcuni clamorosi bug!) e Pro Club farà arrabbiare non poco i giocatori abituali. La terza incarnazione de Il Viaggio si dimostra più lunga e varia del solito (dura una decina di ore), anche se era lecito aspettarsi qualche novità nella struttura e nei caricamenti (frequenti e lenti). L'aggiunta del pacchetto Champions dovrebbe garantire eventi e tornei ad hoc per FUT, anche se per ora non siamo andati oltre la classica Squadra della Settimana. La sostituzione delle Stagioni online con le nuove Division Rivals è un'ottima scelta, così come la ridistribuzione dei premi nelle proverbiali Squad Battles. Il restyle dei menu è piaciuto, così come la soundtrack che accompagna il puro cazzeggio nell'hub di FIFA 19 o negli spassosi mini giochi.

Torna: The Golden Country is an ambitious addition to an already enormous game, but by stripping away many of the features on the sides of the experience, you’re left with a game that never quite finds the highs present in the original game. The story was fun, if hammy at times, but worth seeing. I only wish they had taken better advantage of the excellent changes to combat here to deliver more on the faster-paced combat rather than the dull and laborious side quests.

Torna, The Golden Country es una magnífica expansión y supone -en teoría- nuestra última aventura por el maravilloso mundo de Alrest. Un paseo inolvidable por los Titanes de Torna y Gormott de la mano de unos carismáticos personajes. Conocer más a fondo la historia previa de Lora, Jin, Addam y Mythra. Vivir de primera mano la Guerra de los Égidas así como las primeras manifestaciones de Mahlos encarnando el caos y la maldad absolutas. Estos detalles hacen de este viaje un cierre idóneo a todo lo que nos ha regalado Xenoblade Chronicles 2. Una expansión con ínfulas de ser un juego completo y que incluye novedades tanto jugables como en el apartado técnico y visual. La única pega es la forma artificial de alargar la duración a través de misiones secundarias sin fundamento -la mayoría de ellas-. Con todo y con eso, los fans del JRPG y del fantástico trabajo de Monolith Soft están de enhorabuena puesto que estamos ante una nueva obra maestra del género. Retroceder 500 años y ser un héroe legendario de Torna merece mucho la pena.
