Hollow Knight arriva finalmente anche su Nintendo Switch, dopo essersi fatto attendere per un bel pezzo: ma non è stato sicuramente tempo sprecato. Il piccolo team di sviluppo ha realizzato una conversione eccellente, anche con la giusta attenzione per l'HD Rumble; come se non bastasse chi fino a questo momento non ha giocato al capolavoro di team Cherry potrà gustarselo anche in lingua italiana e comodamente seduto sul divano. Preparatevi per uno dei viaggi più inquietanti della vostra vita, accompagnato da una direzione artistica semplicemente eccezionale.

Crash Bandicoot N. Sane Trilogy is a textbook example of an amazing remake. Taking three all time classics and mashing them together into a single package is great, upgrading the visuals is fantastic, and adding in a few subtle touches without impacting the game itself is the cherry on top. Players still need to keep in mind that these are PS1 platformers, with all of the gameplay limitations and design choices that that entails. Once you get past those rougher edges though this becomes an excellent tribute to one of gaming’s most iconic characters.

Rainbow Skies è un buon RPG fantasy a turni dallo stile alquanto classico. Rispetto al prezzo d’acquisto (€ 26.99) la mole di contenuti è davvero corposa ed il titolo vi terrà impegnati per decine di ore... a patto, però, che riusciate a chiudere un occhio sui difetti del prodotto: un’art design anonimo, un comparto tecnico troppo datato ed una storyline poco affascinante. Il sistema di combattimento e quello di personalizzazione dei personaggi, di contro, ci sono parsi profondi e molto ben costruiti. L’acquisto è consigliato, insomma, a chi cerca un gioco di ruolo di stampo rétro, e soprattutto ai veri fan del genere. E anche a tutti coloro che sono troppo stanchi di rigiocare per la centesima volta Final Fantasy IX!

Rainbow Skies is an indie old school SRPG hiding a wealth of content behind its charming exterior. Improving upon the Rainbow Moon formula, the game doesn’t skimp out on quality or quantity, featuring extensive party management, in-depth combat, a vast world to explore, and a myriad of foes to conquer. Unfortunately, the hundreds of hours of gameplay are not free from tedium and suffer from a lack of variety.

Figment is an attractive, creative puzzler that explores the human mind’s inner demons very nicely indeed. The gameplay is good, if never revolutionary, with just a handful of downers being present in an otherwise solid experience. The game’s most creative moments – such as its boss battles – and the way in which it deals with its heavy subject matter are the real winners here, though, and should go a long way towards encouraging a purchase for those who are most interested.

Far Cry 3 Classic Edition does a good job reminding me both why Far Cry 3 was so loved, and how some things needed to be changed for the better. Still, it's a great game even today.

Hollow Knight no deja un vacío; más bien lo contrario. Este pequeño 'metroidvania', probablemente el mejor ejemplo del género en más de 20 años, nos llena de una sensación que sólo está al alcance de unos pocos: la sensación de haber jugado a una verdadera obra maestra.
