Hypercharge: Unboxed doesn't revolutionize the shooter market or offer anything new, but what it does provide is a highly polished, chaotic, and lovingly crafted experience for players who have an itch for retro games and addictive combat loops. There's certainly an argument to be made that this version is coming a little too late into its life cycle, but if Hypercharge: Unboxed can find a consistent and renewed audience with this long-awaited release on Xbox consoles, then perhaps the future is indeed bright for this zany, old school shooter.

F1 24 es demasiado continuista y no habría tanto problema si no se hubiera toqueteado un sistema de físicas y manejo que ahora se siente peor que la pasada entrega. La mejora considerable del modo carrera es algo positivo, aunque la falta de otras novedades nos vuelve a dejar con un juego sólido, pero sin mayores alicientes.

EA Sports F1 24 falla en lo fundamental, la conducción. Las físicas no funcionan correctamente y provocan un agarre excesivo en los coches, algo que arruina completamente el manejo. Aunque el modo Carrera ha recibido muy buenos cambios, el título es continuista y presenta pocas novedades. Además, el modo VR es horrible.

After 8 years the vanilla career mode got its big update, and the new features have the potential to bring lapsed players back. However, despite the positives, a poorly implemented new handling model means that at launch the game is held back from its full potential. We’ll be keeping an eye on it as Codemasters update things, but for now go in with some caution.

F1 24 has the makings of being better than last year’s edition but the handling just lets down the entire package. It drowns the goodness that is the new stuff that the career mode has bought on. And while I wouldn’t advise getting it on launch, try it out on EA Play’s Game Trials to see if it suits your fancy.

Much of Sweet and Spicy Darling is a continuation of Cupid Parasite tasty storytelling, offering epilogues with the game’s six bachelors and the likable lead. Like most fan-disks, a reading of the original visual novel is essential, establishing the foundations that are devotedly built on here. If you appreciate quirkiness, Cupid Parasite’s wit and whimsy might just be an arrow to the heart.

F1 24 souffre du syndrome de nombreuses licences de sport annualisées. Les développeurs de Codemasters ont tenté un pari risqué en modifiant le gameplay de l’édition précédente qui avait, à notre sens, trouvé un équilibre intéressant entre simulation et arcade. Accessible à tout le monde et riche en contenu, F1 24 est un titre automobile convaincant, mais qui n’apporte pas de changement majeur à l’exception d’une conduite qui ne conviendra pas à tout le monde. À partir de là, ça va vraiment dépendre de l’intérêt de chacun pour cette franchise, mais le besoin de renouveau devient criant.

Hypercharge: Unboxed est une excellente surprise ! Le jeu est un coup de cœur indéniable qui devrait ravir les trentenaires un tant soit peu nostalgiques, ou encore les amateurs de la saga de Pixar, Toy Story. Le gameplay est fun, intuitif et les maps bien construites. L’aspect recherche et défense est un point très positif et on apprécie vraiment la diversité des environnements proposés. Dommage que l’IA soit limitée dans ses mouvements et ses mécaniques et que la campagne du jeu soit sensiblement répétitive. Mais pour peu que vous appréciiez le système de défense et que vous ayez l’un ou l’autre pote sous la main, Hypercharge: Unboxed remplira parfaitement son rôle de jeu fun et agréable !

Attirés par le marketing de ces derniers mois, Hypercharge : Unboxed n’est pas véritablement le jeu que nous nous imaginions. Alors que la communication des développeurs mettait l’accent sur les affrontements entre joueurs, ce mode nous a paru finalement bien secondaire, la faute à l’absence d’un système de progression récompensant l’implication du joueur. Finalement, le mode principal du titre est sa campagne qui malgré ses qualités, notamment dans la variété des ennemis et des armes ainsi que le soin apporté à ses niveaux, n’est pas parvenu à nous convaincre et nous a plutôt rapidement lassés. La faute à un objectif toujours identique entre chaque niveau. Cependant, son gameplay est réussi et les sensations de tirs satisfaisantes, ce qui lui permet tout de même de proposer des parties intéressantes manette en main.

In isolation, F1 24 remains a slick, deep, and marvellous motorsports experience. If you’re a racing gamer who’s just getting into F1 (or an F1 fan who’s just getting into gaming) it’s terrific stuff, packed with options, assists, and various other tweakable toggles to make it hugely approachable to F1 fans of all skill levels. However, if you’re a returning player of F1 23, and F1 22, and so on, it’s hard to deem F1 24 essential. Despite its refurbished career mode and handling overhaul, it’s basically a neck and neck finish with the last few years’ versions. And when you have a head start, that’s kind of a loss.

Killer Klowns From Outer Space: The Game is as silly and entertaining as the movie that spawned it, and that makes for a surprisingly compelling asymmetrical multiplayer game to boot. The back-and-forth between the wacky, murderous Klowns and the whiny teens is a blast no matter which side of the equation you find yourself on, and unlockable classes and abilities add some much needed variety… for a little bit, at least. After a handful of hours, once you’ve tried out all the human and Klown options and learned the layouts of the small number of maps, that competitive loop can get pretty stale. Here’s hoping developer Illfonic has some tricks up their baggy, checkered sleeves and can deliver updates to keep the clown car chugging along beyond that, but for now Killer Klowns makes for at least a dozen hours of really enjoyable hijinks.
