Armored Core V feels, well, like an Armored Core game. Graphics don’t feel like they were improved as much as the online infrastructure has been, and at times, some of the single player missions can feel a little mundane.

If you’re already a fan of the Story of Seasons series, or the genre that it has revolutionized in a number of ways, then Trio of Towns will certainly be exactly what you’re wanting out of it. If, however, you are coming at this from any other place, the game might not be worth playing unless you’re dying to try something new. The titular towns add some fun and variety, but with a detrimental opening tutorial section, and an overall lack of innovation and fun, the game can drag down significantly. It’s a worthy followup to its predecessors, but little else.

Open world afficionados will enjoy the level of freedom and randomness in this island vacation from hell. One of the better shooters of 2012 if just for its variety.

A slick and fun puzzle experience from start to finish, BOXBOY! will please anyone looking for a great new pick-up-and-play adventure. Just don't expect too much challenge until you dive into the optional areas of the game.

While Return To PoPoLoCrois definitely has its issues, those who are looking for a charming and accessible RPG can do a lot worse than what this game has to offer. In a world where traditional turn-based RPGs are becoming increasingly rare it’s refreshing that this game taps into 90s RPG mechanics, though the game’s tedious dungeons let the gameplay down a bit. The farming is a feature that you can take or leave, though it’s harmless enough that it really can’t be taken as a negative outright as you can ignore it entirely if you want to. What ultimately makes the game worth checking out is its cast of characters, as even though they’re involved in a by-the-numbers narrative you still root for them and want to see them overcome the evil in their path. It’s a charming old-school RPG adventure, though it definitely could have used some gameplay tweaking to make all the different ingredients mix better.

It's a rarity nowadays to actually get that sense of accomplishment without something looming over your head that has you asking what's next, and wondering when you'll get to pay to see it. If Bioware never released another bit of downloadable content or standalone game, I'd earnestly chalk this adventure up as one of the best I've ever taken in a video game world.

Hit and miss servers at the game's launch didn't help Hybrid, but as the launch week wore on they seemed to become more stable. Shooter fans that are looking for a change from the normal will definitely find solace in Hybrid, but if you're happy with more traditional offerings, this one might not win you over immediately.

Life is Strange: Before the Storm ha sido un agradable retorno a Arcadia Bay. Deck Nine Games ha sabido seguir el camino marcado y nos ha brindado grandes y emotivos momentos mientras éramos testigos del nacimiento de la amistad entre Chloe y Rachel a lo largo de tres intensos episodios. A ellos hay que añadirle Adiós, el capítulo bonus, que es el broche perfecto para la estrecha relación que ha unido a Max, Chloe y el jugador. En la hora y media que dura el episodio, la buena gente de Deck Nine Games nos regala la última e inocente aventura de infancia entre las dos protagonistas de la serie. Un pequeño oasis de felicidad e inocencia que pronto se verá truncado por las vicisitudes de la vida. Dos chicas que se ven forzadas a madurar de un instante a otro. A cambiar sus vidas de una forma tan inesperada como radical. Es un Adiós, si, pero sirve perfectamente como introducción al juego original y pone un estupendo broche a una más que digna precuela como ha sido Before The Storm.

The complaints are minor in Naruto Shippuden: Ultimate Ninja Storm Generations making this one of the best versions of the fighter. The pick up and play 3D fighter is easy to learn, hard to master, and beautiful throughout.

Hitman: Absolution constantly flip-flops from being awesome to bad in the blink of an eye. It never consistently amazes, nor constantly disappoints. We wished it was more at times, and thought it nearly perfect at others.

Fortnite si porta dietro i pregi e i difetti che avevano caratterizzato l'esordio del gioco: da una parte abbiamo una campagna PvE molto corposa ma fondamentalmente ripetitiva, che utilizza soluzioni in stile free-to-play per gestire la progressione nelle missioni e puntare dunque alla maggiore durata possibile senza un concreto supporto in termini di contenuti; dall'altra l'indovinato modulo Battaglia Reale, molto semplice nei suoi meccanismi ma terribilmente affascinante per via dell'efficacia e della velocità di un matchmaking che consente di catapultarsi in una partita nel giro di pochi secondi, cercando di ottenere un buon piazzamento con un po' di fortuna e un pizzico di strategia.

I don't see any real reason that anyone would enjoy The Expendables 2 Video Game other than an undying love of Sylvester Stallone. There's a lot of poorly implemented gameplay mechanics in this game that make it as much of a throwback as the actors in the upcoming movie. If you really have an cooperative itch to scratch, there are much better alternatives out there.

TT Isle of Man: Ride on the Edge es un título de motociclismo muy solvente que no solamente representa a la perfección la centenaria prueba, sino que además aporta algo más de contenido extra con el que adecentar sus modos de juego. Sin embargo, calidad (la del circuito de la Montaña Snaefell) no siempre va ligado a cantidad y 10 circuitos junta a ese mismo número de motos se antojan como un contenido demasiado corto para un juego de tanta longitud. Las combinaciones posibles son suficientemente cortas como para que a las pocas horas estemos ya de vuelta de todo.
