Payday 2 can be a fun little time-sink, if you’ve got some friends to join you on your bank-robbing escapades. However, due to a lack of voice-chat, some soul-crushingly lackluster AI, and regular performance issues, the game's fun is often the real prisoner that gets held hostage.

Fatal Bullet n'est pas un mauvais jeu, mais il n'a pas retenu mon intérêt très longtemps. C'est amusant d'être entouré des visages familiers de l'anime, et j'ai pu voir les bases d'un solide système de combat et d'upgrade. Cependant, le rythme médiocre de l'histoire et la nature répétitive de l'exploration le font chuter dans mon estime. S'il arrive à améliorer la formule initiale des jeux Sword Art Online, il lui manque encore un peu de travail pour vraiment se démarquer.

Moss made a wonderful first impression and never let up. Spending four hours with Quill in this VR world was a joy, and no one element or environment type wears out its welcome. Its mix of combat and puzzles hooked me quickly, always kept things fresh, and left me wanting more.

Moss fait une magnifique première impression qu'on ne laisse jamais filer. Passer quatre heures en compagnie de Quill dans ce monde en réalité virtuelle fut un plaisir, et aucun élément ni environnement ne vient gâcher cet accueil. Son mélange de combats et de puzzles m'a rapidement accroché, et a toujours gardé la fraîcheur de mes débuts, en plus de me donner envie d'en découvrir davantage.

Apex Construct provides some excellent exploration and exposition in a compelling and beautifully bizarre world. While there is a fully-baked experience here, the engaging story and compelling gameplay is marred by PSVR’s limited control scheme. It represents a step forward for the platform, and for storytelling, but a bit of polishing or patching would bring the controls to heel.

Turok boasts an impressive variety of enemies, weaponry, and puzzles. This version of Turok doesn’t come without its problems, but many of these issues are merely a product of its age. The price-tag is set too high in my opinion, but if you enjoy chaotic old-school FPS gameplay, it’s easy to overlook. Night Dive’s remastered work is remarkable, the game looks much better and performs much better throughout.

Ci saremmo aspettati uno sforzo maggiore nel tentare di distinguere Guns, Gore & Cannoli 2 dall’episodio che l’ha preceduto, laddove la nuova odissea di Vinnie, alla prova dei fatti, non si discosta più di tanto dal concetto di “more of the same”. Per lo meno, il lavoro operato da Crazy Monkey Studios ha l’importante pregio di tirare la ricetta originale a lucido, migliorandone -non poco- il control system e dando una notevole rinfrescata al level design, ben più vario e tortuoso rispetto al passato. Per il resto, Guns, Gore & Cannoli 2 si conferma la solita produzione run & gun di durata risicata ma irresistibile per stile e caciarona per vocazione, ideale tanto per una fruizione mordi e fuggi quanto, a difficoltà avanzate, per misurarsi con una sfida ruvida e tangibile. Una formula che funziona ancora piuttosto bene, insomma, e di cui è difficile lamentarsi più di tanto.

Fatal Bullet isn’t a bad game, but it didn’t hold my interest for very long. It’s fun to be surrounded by familiar faces from the anime series, and I could see glimmers of depth in Fatal Bullet’s combat and upgrade systems. However, the poor story pacing and the repetitive nature of exploration dragged it down. While it’s a good change of pace for games based on SAO, it still lacks the polish needed to really stand out.

Pac-Man Championship Edition 2 Plus performs well on Switch, with only a few fits of noticeable slowdown while in handheld mode. The Plus 2P mode is a nice addition, but sadly lacks the content available in the main game. If you’re looking for a fun and quick distraction for a few minutes every once in a while, this game may be right up your alley.

The Final Station llega a Nintendo Switch manteniendo sus aciertos y errores.
