I loved the SteamWorld Dig games and was excited for SteamWorld Build to give Xbox fans another opportunity to play in this fun universe. SteamWorld Build took what some might consider a niche genre and made it super easy to get into no matter the player’s prior experience. The fun persisted and the progression was constant which made for a great time even in my replays. I recommend this to anyone looking for a chill game to help pass the time.

Turok 3: Shadow of Oblivion‘s remaster here is really only going to serve fans of the original release, being as it is a bare bones up-spuff of a game that isn’t all that memorable or worth rushing out to pick up. It’s not a bad shooter as such, just one that has since been outclassed at every turn in the years since.

Hitman: Blood Money Reprisal rimane ancora un ottimo capitolo della saga di Agente 47, che ci riporta nel pieno degli anni '00, con livelli più compatti, pur senza rinunciare completamente alla libertà offerta al giocatore. Il titolo è invecchiato meglio di quanto ci saremmo aspettati, almeno sotto il profilo del gameplay, e anche il lavoro di conversione su mobile si è rivelato tutto sommato molto buono. Ciò nonostante, non ci sentiamo di definire questa versione il modo migliore di rendere giustizia al gioco, che rimane più godibile nelle sue versioni console. Se, però, non si è mai avuto modo di avvicinarsi a 47 e a una delle sue migliori avventure di sempre, ora anche il vostro smartphone può venirvi in soccorso.

Si les adaptations de mangas prévues en 2024 gardent ce niveau d'exigence, les fans du genre se préparent une belle année. On suit l'histoire avec plaisir. C'est beau et généreux.

Dans l’exécution, Gangs of Sherwood est une version de Robin des bois made in Appeal Studios convaincante. L’aspect coopératif est bien ficelé et le gameplay nous offre un feeling agréable, avec une bonne complémentarité entre nos quatre héros. Couplé avec une direction artistique charmante et un système d’amélioration plaisant, on aurait pu penser que le jeu allait être exceptionnel. Mais finalement, le soufflé retombe bien vite, avec une progression répétitive et de gros soucis d’imprécision qui ont le don d’agacer. Qui plus est, le jeu sera forcément moins fun en solo et manque parfois cruellement d’indication et d’inspiration dans sa construction. Néanmoins, il s’en sort quand même avec les honneurs, notamment sur son aspect graphique, et sera toujours bien meilleur qu’un certain Hood: Outlaw & Legends qui n’avait aucune saveur.
