Paranoia: Happiness is Mandatory est un C-RPG qui peine à mettre en valeur l'ensemble de ses idées. Les missions, les ennemis et les cycle-jours se ressemblent, imposant une répétitivité dans son gameplay et ses décors. Le titre propose pourtant quelques caractéristiques rafraîchissantes : son système de pause active, et un univers orwellien inégalement exploité. Dans cette dystopie imposant le bonheur ultime et la dévotion, on aurait apprécié un peu plus de tourments et d'émotion.

Cookie Cutter è un videogioco fatto di contrasti. Da un lato abbiamo Cherry, una protagonista completamente fuori di testa, sboccata, volgare, violenta, perfettamente consapevole di essere un candelotto di dinamite lanciato verso la distruzione brutale di tutti i suoi nemici. Dall'altro c'è un mondo di gioco che sa fin troppo di già visto: la Megastruttura non è minimamente originale quanto la nostra robot, e alla lunga questa differenza d'ispirazione si fa fin troppo forte e marcata. Al netto di ciò resta un sistema di combattimento divertentissimo, con ottime battaglie contro i boss e una buona qualità media del design dei nemici, oltre a una dinamica di potenziamento stimolante e aperta rispetto ai vari gusti dei giocatori. Cookie Cutter non è il metroidvania perfetto, ma rappresenta un'eccellenza in diversi comparti. Ci auguriamo che il team risolva presto una serie di problematiche di carattere tecnico che ci hanno impedito di apprezzare a fondo l'avventura di Cherry.

Granblue Fantasy Versus Rising est un savant cocktail d’accessibilité et de profondeur, qui saura sans mal attirer l’œil des néophytes du jeu de combat fans de la licence comme les vétérans du genre sans affinité particulière avec le Royaume de Phantagrande. Ce grâce à de nombreuses options de jeu, quoique certaines légèrement en demi-teinte, et une expérience en ligne bien plus convaincante que celle de Versus, tant en contenu qu’en qualité.

With its roguelite take on the base game's formula, engaging story, decent amount of new content and excellent accessibility, God of War Ragnarok: Valhalla is a great expansion that is worthy of any God of War's fans time. The focus on combat may turn some players off, but it's only a minor issue in an expansion that could have been easily sold as paid DLC.

Cookie Cutter no es otro metroidvania más. Como otros tantos, logra encontrar su sitio con ideas y una estética propia, que no se "autocontiene" y deja fluir su toque gore e hiperviolento, con un humor macarrilla y punk. Lástima que algunos aspectos necesiten un pequeño pulido, porque es divertido y consigue atrapar.

Ready or Not est un jeu très intense de par son rythme anxiogène, son réalisme et ses mises en situation. Et c'est là son principal atout : ce côté immersif qui vous mettra la pression et vous fera vous dire « OK, on est pas là pour rigoler ». À faire en multi, il est encore perfectible et bien plus limité dans le contenu qu'un Tom Clancy's Rainbow Six Siege, mais il fait des efforts pour s'ouvrir à un public un peu plus large dans cette 1.0. Il s'impose désormais comme une référence, mais dans son genre (réduit) : pour les vrais amateurs donc.

Despite an occasionally frustrating early game, Cookie Cutter is a thoughtful, creative, and (mostly) approachable metroidvania that embodies all the things you'd expect from the genre with its own distinctive style. If this type of game isn't usually your thing, then its fairly standard structure probably won't do much to win you over, especially when its map can sometimes feel a little less open than it first appears. But as a fast, frantic action game to keep you busy, you could do a lot worse than spending a little quality time with Cherry and her gruesome friends.

Asgard’s Wrath 2 is the full-fledged VR open-world RPG I’ve always wanted to play, and for that matter it’s one of the best RPGs in any perspective I’ve played in years. With four unique characters and stories, fantastic and satisfying combat, intricate and rewarding RPG systems, a great story, and an entire roguelite dungeon-crawling mode thrown in just to show off, this masterpiece completely nails almost everything it tries – much of which has never been pulled off in VR. The Meta Quest 3’s killer app has arrived, and even after more than 90 hours throwing squids at gloriously shredded lizards and whipping across gaps, I’m still eager to jump back in.

Arc System Works aren’t exactly pushing themselves out of their comfort zone, but this is another polished and highly enjoyable 2D fighter that is not nearly as insular as you’d think.
