Way of the Hunter is an entertaining hunting simulator with a message to convey. The story was charming, and the gameplay was engrossing, though at times it felt like the deer had better detection skills than the hunter!

Payday 3 riprende e aggiorna la formula che ha reso celebre l'heist game di Starbreeze, sebbene non sempre compiendo scelte condivisibili. La decisione di portare il gioco nei negozi a un prezzo ridotto e di inserirlo nel catalogo di Xbox Game Pass dal day one ha inevitabilmente influito sulla quantità di contenuti disponibili al lancio, inferiori alle aspettative, mentre la questione del sistema di progressione andrà affrontata il prima possibile. Tuttavia non c'è dubbio che l'impianto, per quanto ancora molto legato al passato, abbia un suo perché e possieda un potenziale che nei prossimi mesi verrà probabilmente espresso appieno. Per mettere a segno un colpo di successo, del resto, serve pazienza.

Payday 3 rappresenta un diamante grezzo, ma il suo destino dipenderà fortemente dagli obiettivi che Starbreeze si è posta. Il gioco offre un gameplay divertente, una rigiocabilità praticamente infinita e una colonna sonora eccezionale, tuttavia, al momento del lancio, il contenuto è estremamente limitato e scarno, inoltre alcuni elementi frustranti ci fanno temere che gli sviluppatori vogliano buttarsi a capofitto sull’accezione negativa del modello “games as a service”. Resta da sperare che i problemi riscontrati vengano risolti, ma c’è il timore che alcune di queste frustrazioni siano parte di un sistema di monetizzazione che potrebbe offuscare l’esperienza di gioco.

Payday 3 has its enjoyable moments, bringing its well-known cooperative heists into a new game engine. However its lack of content, outdated gunplay, underwhelming AI, and unfinished cutscenes leave a lot to be desired. If you're a series fan looking for a substantial step-up in this sequel then this isn’t it. However, if you're after a multiplayer title to clown around in for a few hours, this will suffice.

Even when everything's working, MythForce isn't much more than a bad port of a fun but uninteresting game. That being said, we can't possibly recommend it in its launch state. We don't take half-baked efforts lightly, and this feels even less than that. With some patches and updates, MythForce could potentially turn things around, although we're very far from optimistic. As things stand, avoid the Switch version of MythForce.

S’il ne réinvente pas la roue, Payday 3 modernise avec justesse et intelligence sa formule de braquage à quatre joueurs, et c’est tout ce qu’on lui demande. Les huit missions disponibles à ce jour sont bien réalisées - et exploitent à merveille les quelques nouvelles mécaniques. L’un dans l’autre, la vie de malfrat “manette en main” est toujours aussi prenante. Même si on pourra reprocher un léger manque de contenu, surtout pour l’arsenal, ce troisième volet colle déjà à la peau avec un système de compétences, des modes de difficulté qui donnent toujours envie de recommencer et de réaliser la run idéale. Une superbe base pour l’avenir.

Payday 3 is a solid step forward for my favorite heist simulator franchise, even though that step is a lot smaller than I’d hoped due to a lack of content and the unsurprising but still majorly annoying bugs and performance issues. The awesome combat, greatly improved AI, and especially the stealth options are so massive they alone justify this as a full sequel, and the new and improved heists with clear phases to navigate them are absolutely fantastic. I just wish there was more loot in the proverbial vault at the outset, and that Starbreeze would have used its years of experience in order to ensure this was a more robust and far more stable launch. I’m confident Payday 3 could become the sequel we all deserve with a year or two of updates – for now, it’s a nice start.

In Moonstone Island, there's a ridiculous amount of activities to keep yourself occupied as you progress through your days of Alchemist training, bringing together everything you could ever want in a cozy life-sim title. Gorgeous pixel graphics, a soothing, relaxing soundtrack, Quests, monster catching, turn-based battles, deck building, exploration, farming, Dungeon diving, foraging, crafting and building, treasure hunting, collecting, hidden mines, lovable NPCs, and multiple ways to traverse the lands and make new discoveries.

Lies of P s’impose alors comme un excellent Souls-like. Malgré la volonté de comparer ce dernier avec Bloodborne, il propose de nouvelles mécaniques permettant de prouver sa singularité et de dépasser clairement le stade de simple copie. Neowiz a réussi à innover dans un genre très codifié et dont la nouveauté est de plus en plus rare. Bien qu’il souffre d’une difficulté très variable et d’une rejouabilité bien plus limitée en raison de son aspect linéaire, Lies of P nous présente ici une très bonne histoire dont l’inspiration d’un conte est une complète réussite. Lies of P trouve parfaitement sa place dans la liste des Souls-like et devient même un incontournable du genre.

Party Animals est une claque. Très simple en apparence, il garantit des fous rires avec vos ami(es). Intelligent, beau, simple d’accès et pourtant plein de challenge, c’est une petite merveille dont il serait dommage de se priver. D’autant qu’il sera disponible dès le lancement sur le Xbox Game Pass en plus de sa sortie sur Steam.
