Rune Factory 3 Special è una remaster molto conservativa, ma restituisce lo stile e l'esperienza di quell'ormai lontanissimo nel tempo Rune Factory 3: A Fantasy Harvest Moon per Nintendo DS. Le aggiunte fondamentali, oltre all'evidente aggiornamento grafico (che non ha tradito lo stile originale), consistono in un livello di sfida aggiuntivo, finalmente impegnativo, e nella possibilità di godere di scene aggiuntive con la propria dolce metà, anche una volta terminata la trama principale (cosa che non era possibile nel capitolo originale). Non è molto, ma è ciò che i fan chiedevano da tempo; per il resto, Rune Factory 3 Special resta un RPG divertente e immediato, capace di unire quel pizzico di filosofia dei simulatori di vita in stile Harvest Moon e Animal Crossing all'esplorazione e agli scontri tipici degli RPG giapponesi (e non solo). Un mix di elementi che dovrebbe soddisfare anche i palati più esigenti dei giocatori di oggi, dimostrando una volta di più come alcuni titoli del passato non sono invecchiati di un giorno - e non invecchieranno ancora per un bel po'.

Baldur's Gate 3 è un prodotto incredibile e la versione PS5 riesce a trasmettere così bene questo mondo di meraviglia che siamo convinti non vedrete l'ora di metterci sopra le mani. Una conversione competente, comoda, versatile, immediata nel suo utilizzo cooperativo grazie a uno split screen apparentemente semplice, ma funzionale. Larian riesce a portare su console il suo figlio già adulto, mettendo a disposizione dei possessori di PS5 un titolo capace di trasportarli in una delle più belle ambientazioni di Dungeons & Dragons mai create e soprattutto pagare un tributo enorme a una delle saghe più iconiche di giochi di ruolo occidentali. Non sappiamo quale sarà il futuro di Bioware, ma conosciamo il presente di Larian e sinceramente già questo ci basta.

On prend Chants of Sennaar pour ce qu'il nous propose : une aventure linguistique rafraichissante parfaitement en phase avec sa période de sortie. Ce court jeu plaira aux amateurs de casse-têtes et aux amoureux des langues, même inventées. Son univers coloré et enchanteur finit de nous convaincre qu'il s'agit d'une merveille réécriture du mythe de Babel.

Chants of Sennaar is as defined by its peaks as its valleys. For every moment of mind-blowing, brilliant puzzle design comes an inversely frustrating moment stymied by '90s adventure game logic. The game's ability to teach a player aspects of a language is awe-inspiring, and its way of guiding players along with as little information as possible is intensely rewarding—when it works. Even though it isn't for everyone (or consistently excellent), it's constantly impressive. There’s limited freedom to roam in Killer Frequency, and not much to being a DJ, but the variety of gameplay kept me entertained and being an interim 911 operator sure is exciting, whether I played the hero or villain. Lives are very much at stake, but the great part is, you don’t need any action game experience to succeed. This is a more passive survival horror experience perfect for those who don’t like blood and gore, where all it takes is your brain and the ability to see solutions in all the clues provided. Every caller brings new elements that pose a challenge, but without being overly difficult. And even though you don’t see – or perhaps because you can’t see – what’s happening to the people in your care, there’s still a great buildup of tension. And it’s equally fun no matter which mindset you choose: being the grand savior is very rewarding and satisfying, but intentionally screwing up is just too tempting not to give it a go. I highly recommend it even to those who can’t bear to watch a horror movie – it’s perfect for a home-alone, late-night gaming session with the lights off and a bowl of popcorn at hand.

Baldur’s Gate 3 sur PlayStation 5 n’a rien à envier à Baldur’s Gate 3 sur PC. Larian Studios n’a pas sacrifié son RPG pour le faire tourner sur la console de Sony. Ce jeu de rôle conserve l’intégralité du contenu de la version PC (même la coopération en local via écran partagé) et propose une expérience optimale manette en mains. Les quelques défauts de BG3 sont encore présents (notamment l’interface “pad”), mais pour le reste, c’est un sans faute.

PS5 recibe un soberbio port de Baldur's Gate 3, en el que no se ha sacrificado nada de contenido y los recortes técnicos son inapreciables, salvo si lo has jugado antes en un PC de gama alta. Eso sí, la queja es que solo se puede jugar con el mando:, el manejo con ratón y el teclado se ha eliminado en PS5, a diferencia de los ports de otros juegos.

If you’re someone who enjoys third-person survival horror action titles such as Resident Evil and are looking for something to play over a weekend, then Daymare: 1994 Sandcastle’s 10ish-hour campaign may scratch that itch. There are some good ideas here, such as the Frost Grip, but the lack of execution and polish, and some poor core mechanics, means that this is best saved for a bargain price and a rainy day.

Trine 5: A Clockwork Conspiracy is a decent culmination of the series. The game offers plenty of mind-bending puzzles and still respects its platforming roots. While the combat still feels somewhat clunky, the game's visuals and puzzle difficulty more than makeup for it. The game is much more enjoyable with friends as they can solve puzzles more inventively.

Mediterranea Inferno offre una miscela efficace di storia, direzione artistica e caratterizzazione dei personaggi, affiancata da un comparto sonoro pregevole. Questa visual novel - a dir poco essenziale sul fronte ludico - è in grado di raccontare le vicende appassionanti di tre amici, in cui è difficile non immedesimarsi. Anche per tale ragione, superare il termine della prima run e dedicarsi alla scoperta dei vari finali di questo viaggio ci è parsa una scelta naturale, a riprova del talento dimostrato dagli addetti ai lavori.

Bomb Rush Cyberfunk es (y si, lo voy a decir) una carta de amor a Jet Set Radio, una pequeña cápsula del tiempo que nos lleva a esos tiempos, pero a la vez cuenta con la tecnología actual de su lado, no tanto para ser un portento técnico si no para no quedarse corto en ningún apartado, ofreciendo las suficientes mejoras y novedades como para sentirse fresco pese a ser una secuela espiritual del título protagonizado por Beat y compañía y mientras esperamos al futuro Jet Set Radio (que veremos como sale, espero que bien) desde luego el título de Team Reptile es lo que muchos llevábamos pidiendo muchos años, así que espero que nos encontremos por las calles de New Amsterdam.
