If you were even half-aware of games news at the end of 2021, you will already be a bit interested in this game. It’s brimming with fun, uniquely committed to co-op gaming, plays solidly and distinctively, and usually discards one cool idea in favour of another before there’s time to get bored. Now-standard graphical compromises have been made for Switch, and the typical perk of playing handheld is questionable for an always-split-screen co-op-only game. Nonetheless, it keeps the frames moving well enough not to undermine its Game-of-the-Year sparkle. It Takes Two and the good old Switch may not be a perfect marriage, but it’s probably worth sticking it out, now that we’re five years in.

Charon’s Staircase is more a thriller than a horror with a very intriguing story that has some pretty cool twists. Some of the puzzles are a bit ambiguous and will leave you scratching your head, but in the end you’ll have experienced another treasure of storytelling from the minds of a talented and dedicated smaller studio.

Me queda la sensación de que este port podría haber dado más de sí en lo técnico, de forma que tuviéramos unos gráficos acordes al magnífico trabajo artístico original. Aun así, y a pesar de resultar visualmente inferior a las versiones del resto de plataformas, la magia cooperativa original sigue vigente en Nintendo Switch, con una aventura divertidísima que goza de los mismos atributos que en su estreno. Fue y sigue siendo uno de los videojuegos más recomendables para jugar en compañía, así que si no tuviste ocasión de probarlo, corre a por él.

Enjoy Studio e Red Deer Games omaggiano le storie dei primi astronauti animali della storia con un action platformer colorato e sensibile, aggiungendo alcune idee interessanti. Nonostante quanto di buono proponga, il titolo inciampa in una realizzazione generale con diverse sbavature soprattutto sul versante dell'equilibrio ludico di ciascuna sua parte. Merita una possibilità, a patto di mettere in conto qualche spigolo di troppo. Marvel Snap est la surprise inespérée de cet automne. Tout est bien conçu, bien huilée et parfaitement pensé pour le jeu mobile, avec des parties courtes qui s’enchaînent à n’en plus finir. Que l’on perde ou que l’on gagne, le jeu parvient toujours à nous récompenser et à éviter ainsi toute frustration, tandis que son modèle économique ne vous saute jamais au visage pour vous forcer à payer des variantes ou des avatars en plus. Bien que doté d’un contenu encore limité avec certaines fonctionnalités que l’on espère voir vite arriver, Marvel Snap nous tombe rarement des mains et fait opérer sa magie des heures durant. On en redemande, et on espère que le titre a un brillant avenir devant lui.

Het is Infinity Ward gelukt om een setting te creëren die zo regelrecht uit een actiefilm zou kunnen komen. Het verhaal kan dan wel ietwat voorspellend zijn, maar de acties, explosies en de diversiteit in de speelvormen zorgen ervoor dat je zelf nauw bij de vuurlinie zit en je echt betrokken voelt tot het team.

Met The Legend of Heroes: Trails from Zero kunnen we eindelijk meemaken hoe de legende van de Special Support Section werd geboren. Het bevat opnieuw een langzaam opbouwend, maar intrigerend verhaal, uitstekende worldbuilding en een diepgaand gevechtssysteem, wat ook dit weer een geweldige Trails-game maakt.
