It’s hard to recommend Somerville purely on the basis of what loosely-tied and ultimately lacking material its narrative provides. A story, so to speak, devoid of a satisfying conclusion (not least if you’re going for all possible endings) wherein the vague explanation throughout doesn’t always work in its favor. Having said that, the same hands-off approach to its puzzle design does provide more than enough positives to render the game an enjoyable-enough trek. At least for those willing to toss such lacking explanation on its world to the side. Complimented by a style of presentation unafraid to shake up its framing from time to time, as well as respectable visual left-turns along the way. Somerville may lack the foundation or staying power to justify its narrative’s more personal but muddled intent, but its gameplay and philosophy on letting players figure things out for their own still wins out overall.

Pentiment fera clairement partie de ces titres que nous referons à l'avenir. Avec sa finesse d'écriture, sa rejouabilité immense, son atmosphère génialissime, sa galerie de personnages réussie et son côté « drogue douce », le titre nous donne envie de tout savoir, tout comprendre sur les agissements des habitants de Tassing et les mystères de l'Abbaye de Kiersau. Obsidian réussit un tour de magie en insufflant une telle énergie dans son oeuvre que l'on ne sait pas si nous sommes face à un polar, une fresque historique ou une histoire fantastique et lugubre. En fait, c'est un peu tout à la fois... Si vous êtes passionné de Point and Click, bloquez votre journée de demain ! Si vous êtes novice...bloquez votre journée de demain ! Il vous faut essayer ce titre qui, malgré quelques défauts techniques, une absence parfois frustrante d'ambiance musicale, et quelques ralentissements dans l'histoire, risque fort de vous hypnotiser pendant de vos longues soirées d’hiver.

The Chant, pese a sus luces y sombras, me ha gustado. Un Survival Horror que se esfuerza en meternos en una historia repleta de misterios fascinantes en un entorno del que es un gozo perderse. Lástima lo mal parado que salen sus combates o ciertos aspectos visuales, algo que podréis perdonar en función de vuestro estómago.

Nonostante la versione per realtà virtuale arrivi sugli store con un po' di ritardo, Among Us è uno di quei giochi che non potrà mai passare di moda, per via della meccanica tanto semplice quanto divertente. Among Us VR però convince ancor di più, elevando tutti gli elementi della sua versione 2D grazie all'immersività della realtà virtuale. Partecipare ad una riunione di emergenza guardando tutti i membri dell'equipaggio e sentendo le loro arringhe difensive mentre le manine degli avatar gesticolano in modo disordinato è divertente e trascinante. I minigiochi pensati per i compiti degli astronauti sono piacevoli e capaci di distrarre i giocatori dall'ambiente circostante, mentre gli impostori dovranno calcolare molto bene le loro mosse. Tecnicamente asciutto ma profondo il giusto sul profilo di accessibilità e comfort, Among Us VR è un'esperienza che tutti dovrebbero fare e, secondo noi, il modo migliore per godere del gioco di Innersloth. La speranza è che il successo di questo porting VR spinga gli sviluppatori ad aggiungere più mappe e oggetti cosmetici.

With its dead-simple graphics and basic map and enemy design, Vampire Survivors seems like it has no business sticking with me as much as it does. And yet, I felt compelled to put over a hundred hours into experimenting with its many weapon and ability upgrade combinations, starting round after round trying to reach the end and unlock all of its characters, evolve all of its weapons, and unlock all of its secrets. The bewitching spell of its appeal can be broken by the duller stretches between when you find a great build or unlock a challenging new mode, but it probably won’t be long until you find a new way to challenge yourself to survive just a few seconds longer.

Whether you are playing single-player, co-op online/split screen, Warhammer 40,000: Shootas, Blood & Teef is fun. Light-hearted and a significant change of pace for the Warhammer universe. I really enjoyed playing this with my son. Controls were straightforward and easy to get used to, though I was a bit taken back when I found out A wasn’t jump however this didn’t spoil my enjoyment. I would recommend Warhammer 40,000 if you want a local co-op shooter with drop-in and drop-out functions.

More than just a retro compilation, this is a fascinating attempt to create an interactive history of Atari, that goes above and beyond in terms of trawling the archives and creating new remakes.
