The Chant promettait une ambiance intriguante sur un thème très peu représenté et le bilan est plus que positif. On adore l’atmosphère générale qui s’y dégage et la direction artistique infaillible. Reprenant certaines idées ci et là de cador de l’horror/action, The Chant amène sa petite touche personnelle pour rendre le périple des plus appréciables et agréables. Techniquement assez solide, il ne présente qu’un ou deux petits défauts qui peuvent facilement être corrigés. La production de Brass Token mérite le coup d’œil, même en cette période charnière de l’année pourtant surbookée.

Per essere un prodotto di debutto, The Chant si dimostra solido e promettente, tuttavia la sua stessa natura tende a evidenziare l’immaturità di un team di sviluppatori che sta imparando a coesistere sotto un’univoca direzione artistica. Nonostante abbia tutte le carte in regola per dimostrarsi un horror degno di nota, il titolo manca infatti di focus, si spezza tra la creazione di un’atmosfera tesa e la catarsi action, quindi non riesce a sviluppare il pieno potenziale dei suoi sporadici tratti virtuosi. Tenendo conto delle molte alternative a disposizione degli amanti dei giochi dell’orrore, The Chant fatica a stagliarsi dalla massa, disperdendosi in un’allucinazione perversa che stenta a lasciare un segno imperituro.

God of War Ragnarok is phenomenal. Even amongst PlayStation Studios' typically stellar output it's a showpiece — a masterfully crafted game that smashes expectations at almost every turn. The sheer, often ridiculous scope of Ragnarok makes 2018's God of War feel like a prologue — and that's perhaps the highest praise we can bestow upon a sequel.

A few changes here and there improve Football Manager 2023 much more than I’d anticipated. It’s still the same deeply engrossing sim that you know and love, but with a few extra bells and whistles to keep the fans happy.

When you get into the guts of it, WRC Generations is by no means a drastic shake-up on its quality predecessors, even if there have been some small but welcome improvements to the career mode and customisation tools that have spiked my enthusiasm. It does, however, deserve credit for both the very respectable range of relevant rally cars it features, as well as its absolute mountain of rally locations. With almost every country to host the WRC over the last decade represented, WRC Generations may be KT Racing’s last WRC game, but there’s nothing least about it. The kitchen sink philosophy has resulted in a fantastic and uncommonly generous package for gravel groupies, asphalt addicts, and mud-slinging maniacs alike.

Pour une première expérience, Brass Token s'en tire avec les honneurs avec The Chant. Dans l'ensemble, le jeu reste une agréable aventure avec un sujet original qui ravira les joueurs peu exigeants envers ses quelques défauts.

Ghost Song is a wonderfully atmospheric adventure filled with loveable characters, fantastic writing, beautiful artwork, and a sensational soundtrack. Old Moon’s debut title is a little short and at times frustratingly vague, but a triumph nonetheless. It should more than satisfy your cravings while you wait patiently for Hollow Knight: Silksong. You’ll have a blast on whatever platform you decide to play it on, but for the frugal among you, it will also be available day one on Xbox Games Pass.

Ghost Song ci ha lasciato un leggero amaro in bocca se consideriamo il suo notevole potenziale. La storia conquista, le mappe e in generale il level design del gioco sono ben costruiti, mentre la varietà degli scontri e la componente ruolistica funzionano (inizialmente) molto bene. Purtroppo la difficoltà media non cresce col passare delle ore e anzi vira verso il basso, complici alcuni devastanti power up e una generale ripetitività dei nemici. Nonostante queste criticità, Ghost Song ci ha divertito e affascinato, ecco perché vi consigliamo comunque di provarlo, soprattutto se siete abbonati a Xbox Game Pass.

Honey, I Joined a Cult è un ottimo esempio di come sia possibile costruire qualcosa di unico partendo da meccaniche molto familiari. Il suo approccio sarcastico al boom dei culti più strani nell'America degli anni '70 è ben riuscito e ispira meccaniche di gameplay efficaci e piacevolmente assurde. I fan dei giochi di basebuiding si sentiranno subito a casa e ci metteranno un attimo ad arrivare al cuore del gioco. Chi volesse avvicinarsi a questo genere per la prima volta, invece, potrebbe avere delle prime ore difficili e frustranti. Il nostro consiglio è di provare a superare l'ostacolo del tutorial sulla gestione delle molte risorse perché apre le porte a un ottimo titolo, capace di regalare tantissime risate e divertimento.

Pari réussi pour Brass Token qui, avec son premier jeu, s’en sort avec les honneurs. The Chant est une bonne surprise qui reprend ce qui se fait ailleurs mais avec un thème qu’on a moins l’habitude de voir dans le jeu vidéo et des mécaniques qui reflètent directement le scénario. La mise en scène réserve de jolis moments et même si la flippe n’est pas là, l’ambiance n’a pas à rougir face à d’autres productions. À découvrir si vous êtes prêts à écarter certains défauts.

Honey, I Joined a Cult è un gioco gestionale più canonico di quanto la simpatica premessa non faccia sospettare. Ha alcuni aspetti peculiari affondati però in una struttura classica e neppure troppo avvincente, data l'assenza di particolari possibilità di interpretare le partite, che finiscono così per assomigliarsi un po' troppo fra loro. Chi cerca di un gestionale "leggero" può dedicarsi alla sua nuova setta senza preoccuparsi troppo. Chi, al contrario, si aspetta anche profondità e malleabilità del sistema di gioco rischia di sentirsi un po' troppo "ingabbiato". Da approcciare dunque con la giusta cautela.
