C'est bien dommage pour Heaven & Hell qui partait avec un petit capital sympathie grâce à son concept et son parti pris loufoque mais au final, le titre se révèle presque soporifique tant il est mou et peu varié. Les développeurs auraient-ils cédé à la tentation de la paresse ?

Pas ultime, mais tout de même marrant, XGRA plaira à coup sûr aux amateurs de F-Zero et autres Wipeoutreries. D'autant que sa réalisation est très acceptable et que le challenge, de difficulté progressive, comprend des objectifs secondaires pour chaque course.

XGRA is a fun racer, but if you're expecting something that plays like XG3 -- don't. These are two different games. Acclaim's latest offering has a lot going for it still. Tight, if heavy control, a seriously improved weapon system that makes for a lot of fun, and the insane tracks that XG fans have come to expect from the franchise. This is a bigger game -- more courses and a slightly expanded Season Mode, too. No doubt, die-hard racing fans will find a good amount to be happy over here, especially at XGRA's reduced price tag. But there are some drawbacks, too, particularly if you -- like me -- know and love XG3 before it. Acclaim for some reason modified the control and physics systems for this sequel -- not bad, but in my opinion for the worse. Meanwhile, some of the additions are nearly useless; there are secondary objectives in races, yes, but most of them barely qualify as a challenge and seem to be added as an afterthought. Finally, what happened to the stunning 60-frames-per-second-fludity of XG3? XGRA runs at half that with constant dips in motion -- a disappointment that has a real bearing on the game as it lessens the sensation of speed, the primary element of any racer. All said and done XGRA is still a worthy racer. But it's far from a perfect one. A few more months of development time might have gone a long way toward ironing out some of the iffy design choices and technical shortcomings. Give it a rental at the very least.

Disney's Party isn't a bad game, but it is flat and uninspired. It's a cheap version of Mario Party aimed at the younger generation. It's just surprising that the creators of Mario Party are able to make a party game that feels so stale, but perhaps they've been at the game too long, or saving the good stuff for Mario Party 5. When a game has to con you into thinking that it's fun by repeatedly having characters belt out variations of "This is so much fun", it's a sign that there are problems at some level -- because Disney's Party is anything but a lot of fun. This is further emphasized by the all too similar mini-games. Disney's Party lacks diverse and fun gameplay -- the very nautre of what a party game should be, making it a title that should be rented before purchasing -- and that's only if you're a die hard party fan. Make sure you have a steady stream of friends or younger gamers to play with if you decide to take the purchasing leap, because this title gets old quite fast and will be collecting dust long before it earns its keep. It's best you just wait for Mario Party 5

A première vue en lisant le test on pourrait se faire une mauvaise idée de cet add-on. Ne vous inquiétez pas outre-mesure, le soft demeure fort sympathique pour qui ne se lasse pas des ficelles de la série MoH. Le seul petit hic c'est qu'on aurait aimé être un peu plus surpris par le titre comme il parvient à le faire dans les premiers niveaux au lieu de nous ressortir des astuces déjà vues. Toutefois, le fun MoH prend toujours et les fans apprécieront. Tout ce qu'il faut espérer c'est que Pacific Assault saura un peu plus rafraîchir la série. Un détail à ne pas oublier non plus : l'Offensive est courte !

Le nouveau Tiger Woods est un excellent jeu de golf d'EA Sports. Probablement le meilleur jeu de golf à ce jour. Il conviendra à tous les joueurs. Les débutants seront séduits par sa prise en main instinctive, et les spécialistes apprécieront les très nombreuses possibilités du soft. Un jeu vivement conseillé !

On attendait plus qu'un simple portage d'un titre PS2 vieux de deux ans. Lotus Challenge est loin d'être « la simulation la plus pure » qu'on nous annonçait. La conduite n'est ni crédible ni motivante. Ce jeu génère l'ennui, rien d'autre.
