Like any rookie phenom, no matter how good they play, they're still prone to making rookie mistakes. The great thing about MVP is, even with those mistakes, it's still one of the best baseball titles to hit the market and finishes a strong second to World Series. MVP's pitcher/batter interface alone makes for thrilling head-to-head play as wannabe hurlers finally need skill to throw strikes, while the Franchise mode will have you simulating games for nights-on-end as you try to find the right combination of players and salaries to bring a title to your hometown The game might not feature the depth of its competitors, and like I said, MVP's not without its faults, but in terms of pickup-and-play ease and excitement and two-player competition, it still proves to be one of your Most Valuable Purchases this season. Yogi Berra once said, "If the world were perfect, it wouldn't be." Let's just hope MVP's world is a little more perfect next time around.

Blue Shift has outdone themselves. At first glance, some may think this is just a rehash of last year. But play WSB 2K3. Play it a lot. And you'll begin to see that subtle gameplay changes make this a better game then last year. If you're wondering why the score is just a notch about the one given in 2002, it's for one simple reason. World Series Baseball is an improvement over last season, but there are too many things Blue Shift didn't fix. No balls bouncing in the infield? Come on now, that's gotta be there. World Series Baseball 2K3 is the best console baseball game I've ever played. If you love baseball, there is no other choice. Buy WSB 2K3 and if you have some extra cash, think about one of the other ballgames as a backup -- something to play once in a while for giggles. But set yourself aside a serious amount of time, because WSB 2K3 will take over your life for a good long while. I only hope next year I can say the same thing about World Series Baseball 2K4.

Ca sent un peu le recyclage tout ça. Tenchu 3 se contente d'améliorer un peu ce qui marchait déjà. Les fans vont être aux anges, pas de doutes car le résultat manque pas de pêche. Mais ceux qui recherchent un jeu d'infiltration pur et dur prennent le risque d'être un peu déçus. Reste une ambiance et un fun qui compensent certains manques.

Si Konami avait pourtant une bonne carte à jouer avec ce jeu de skate saupoudré de Mickeys, l'éditeur échoue à nous proposer un titre sympa à jouer, intéressant sur le long terme et surtout accessible aux plus jeunes. Espérons que les autres softs de la gamme ne soient pas aussi désastreux.

Amateurs de skate, passez votre chemin. Amateurs de Disney, privilégiez plutôt un petit film de l'oncle Walt. Disney Sports Skateboarding est un jeu barbant, peu ambitieux, ne faisant que profiter de la marque pour espérer se vendre.
