Avete amato Bushido Blade? Adorate il design di Tenchu? La libertà di Shenmue (anche se qui piuttosto limitata) vi intriga? Allora Way of the Samurai è un titolo che vi soddisferà appieno, ma per tutti gli altri utenti consiglio vivamente di provarlo prima di un acquisto, ma non per soli cinque minuti! Questo è un gioco piuttosto profondo con una grande base strategica per l’utilizzo delle armi, non è affatto semplice ed è anche piuttosto corto, ma con molti finali differenti. Il mio giudizio è più che sufficiente ma state attenti, non è adatto a tutti!

Commandos 2 è uno di quei titoli che non dovrebbero mancare agli amanti dei giochi di strategia in tempo reale. Se non siete degli accaniti fan del genere, vi consiglio comunque di provarlo, prima di giudicare.

Un excellent titre mais qui souffre malheureusement de quelques défauts et lacunes. On s'attendait à un truc tellement gros que fatalement on est un rien déçu, mais quoi qu'il en soit Colin McRae Rally continuera à faire partie des pointures dans la catégorie. Les fans du second volet trouveront peut-être cette nouvelle mouture moins radicale et exigeante, CMR 3 est un excellent titre mais Codemasters passe malheureusement à côté de la simulation ultime qui aurait du tout déchirer sur son passage...

La série Rollercoaster Tycoon perd de sa splendeur avec ce second épisode qui semble déjà usé par le temps. Un revirement de l'interface ou tout du moins une refonte graphique aurait sûrement permis d'intéresser plus de monde. Car même si l'aspect gestion est plutôt réussi, la partie visuelle n'est pas accueillante et ne donne pas envie d'approfondir la chose. On lui préfère donc la série Theme Park.

Sneakers reminds me a lot of E.T. for the Atari. Both suck and both had you wandering around aimlessly collecting things. Sneakers should never have even come to the U.S. I can think of 2000 ways to spend $30, and none of them involve buying Sneakers. An embarrassment of a game flawed from concept to finished product. If this was meant to be for kids, it missed the mark. I played E.T. on Atari, and let me tell you, it sucked. It was boring and I would have rather been playing Space Invaders. I was seven then, so I think the experience translates to what a 7-year old would experience playing Sneakers. Kids want fast and fun (Pokemon and Mario anyone?), they don't want slow, plodding, boring, and unintelligent gameplay. Just because someone is young, doesn't mean they need things dumbed down. I plan on burning my copy so that it can't fall into the hands of impressionable children who might then come to think all video games are meant to suck this bad.

Malheureusement les grosses lacunes en terme de réalisation font de Soccer Slam sur PS2 un titre frustrant. On sent tout le potentiel d'un gameplay à la fois fun et original gâché par une dimension technique qui ne suit pas. Dommage.

Like the real life superstar, this Tiger Woods really doesn't have much worthwhile competition either. But Electronic Arts has nonetheless put together a very satisfying golf game to go with what has to be one of the most precious licenses around. EA has just about perfected the practice of blending simulation and arcade elements into one satisfying sports game and golf is no exception. I love the simple fact that you have to learn serious ball-striking skills to be successful in Tiger Woods 2003 but that you'll get plenty of wacky eye candy and payoff whether you're successful or not. Authentic sports mechanics in a fun and exciting environment is formula that so many other companies ruin. Either that or they don't even attempt to serve two masters so you end up with over-the-top games like Outlaw Golf. That Simon and Schuster title is a decent game, but unless you have an affinity for seeing strippers in golf videogame, you're better served picking up TW03 because it will solve pretty much all of your golfing needs.
