Bright Memory: Infinite Bright Memory: Infinite arriva su console al termine di un lungo percorso di sviluppo. Un tragitto in cui si palesa tutto il talento dello giovane sviluppatore, segnale evidente delle potenzialità del palcoscenico videoludico cinese. Un gameplay esaltante ed una lodevole appariscenza visiva si accompagnano tuttavia a diverse inevitabili carenze dovute ai modesti mezzi produttivi, tra cui una longevità estremamente ridotta ed un game design incerto. Son problematiche che si avvertono soprattutto a causa degli anni trascorsi e che non possono non pesare sulla valutazione di questa nuova release, pur non riuscendo ad oscurare quanto di buono proposto. In fin dei conti, Capcom Arcade 2nd Stadium ricalca pedissequamente tutte le caratteristiche del predecessore, riproponendo 30 titoli che hanno fatto la storia del publisher senza però portare nulla di innovativo e vario: tra i titoli presenti, ad esempio, troviamo ben quattro iterazioni di Street Fighter e due di Darkstalkers. Sarebbe stato bello avere un roster di giochi diversi per genere e meglio equilibrati così da deliziare tutti i palati ma, ancora una volta, Capcom scommette tutto sui titoli di punta (varianti comprese) per questa seconda collection, che forse non era davvero così strettamente necessaria ma che farà battere il cuore degli amanti della nostalgia. Che non sono pochi.

Capcom sigue regalando a los jugadores más nostálgicos recopilatorios de una gran calidad de algunas de sus obras más prestigiosas. En esta ocasión le ha tocado el turno a 32 títulos de diferente índole, destacando la serie Street Fighter Alpha, Knights of the Round, Magic Sword, varias entregas de Darkstalkers o Saturday Night Slam Masters. Un pack muy completo y repleto de opciones de personalización que, a poco que te gusten este tipo de obras clásicas puedes pasarte literalmente cientos de horas sin soltar el mando. Su única pega es la ausencia de modo multijugador online, un defecto incomprensible a estas alturas que le hace perder varios enteros. Pero al margen de esto, es un dulce demasiado bueno como para resistirse a probarlo.

A successful tribute to F-Zero and WipEout where going fast never stops being fun. Its surprisingly meaty career mode more than justifies the price tag but it may struggle to win over more casual racing enthusiasts.

That's really what Redout 2 lacks at the end of the day. It's not a game that sticks with you, even if the racing is solid and filled with colorful graphics. Track descriptions and loading screens describe a future world that an algorithm could generate, and all the narrative hooks lead to environments that could boil down to the generic elemental surroundings of any given Mario Kart. During each session, whenever there was a straightaway, my mind wandered intermittently. The only aspect of gameplay keeping my attention was trying to keep my car upright and ahead of the competition, and the races demanded a mechanical mastery that ensured I wasn't very good at either. Considering the lack of attention that Redout 2 pays to its surroundings, I'm not sure it's worth the investment to get better.
