Spike Chunsoft has done it again with AI: THE SOMNIUM FILES nirvanA Initiative. They tell an incredible murder mystery that’s a ton of fun to figure out, all while solving brain-bending puzzles and talking to a colorful cast of endearing characters. There are a lot of performance issues and bugs, but those are nitpicks compared to just the sheer joy of diving into people’s minds to solve the case.

Que dire de Autobahn Police Simulator 3 ? Eh bien à peu près la même chose que pour le deux. L’aspect simulator est là, le contenu est plutôt diversifié et convenable sur le principe. Contrôler les uns et les autres en parcourant les routes, ça a son petit charme. Mais peut-on pour autant accepter grâce à cela un dixième des défauts du jeu ? Si l’on peut éventuellement s’accommoder d’une progression trop lente ou de quelques modes de jeu ratés, voire carrément de graphismes d’un autre âge, on ne peut fermer les yeux sur une prestation technique qui tutoie les enfers. Ralentissements, bugs visuels à foison, conduite avec un balai dans le pot, phases de tir abominables, le tout dans des décors d’un autre temps, c’est beaucoup. Même pour les initiés. Le coup fatal à la patience est porté par l’ensemble trop important de bugs gênant ou entravant la progression. En bref, si vous êtes vous aussi un doux rêveur qui espérait avec Autobahn Police Simulator 3 retrouver les bonnes choses du deux en (un tout petit peu) mieux, réveillez-vous dès maintenant. Sans quoi la gueule de bois pourrait être brutale.

Fire Emblem Warriors: Three Hopes is a thoroughly entertaining mash-up of Musou mayhem, strategy and relationship-building aspects that should more than satisfy fans of both the franchises involved here. It improves upon its 2017 predecessor in several ways, most notably in providing a far more engaging story featuring a narrative that's ripe for several replays. With impressively solid performance on Switch and an action-packed campaign that'll see you blasting your way through tens of thousands of foes for a good 30 hours in a single playthrough, this is right up there with the very best Omega Force has served up thus far.

The Capcom Fighting Collection has everything it needs to succeed: a collection of great games alongside some rarities, an impressive museum filled with interesting art and music, and a snappy UI linking everything together. Online play has been flawless ahead of launch thanks to easy matchmaking and modern rollback netcode. It’s a bummer that there’s no cross-platform play and Street Fighter III is conspicuously absent, but other than that Capcom truly has a collection worth collecting on its hands.

Giudicare Blade Runner Enhanced Edition è un lavoro difficile. Se è vero che i trailer di comparazione con la grafica della versione originale avevano mostrato un approccio molto fedele, più di ricostruzione ed esaltazione delle atmosfere losangeline che di vera e propria revisione, non si possono non notare diversi difetti che pregiudicano il risultato finale. L’interfaccia e i sottotitoli sono totalmente da rivedere, per non parlare della imperdonabile traduzione in lingua italiana, tra le peggiori che abbiamo avuto occasione di vedere in ambito videoludico; inoltre, il lavoro di restyling, per quanto volontariamente aderente all’estetica del titolo del 1997, avrebbe potuto (e forse dovuto) tentare di rendere più leggibili determinate situazioni ed elementi a schermo. Il lavoro fatto da Nightdive Studios è quindi, tutto sommato, marginale, e anzi le aggiunte - l’interfaccia rinnovata e i sottotitoli - risultano senza dubbio male implementate. Fatte tutte queste doverose premesse, riteniamo che Blade Runner Enhanced Edition sia un acquisto imprescindibile per tutti gli appassionati di fantascienza e, in particolare, per coloro che amano gli universi - letterari e cinematografici - sorti dai lavori di Philip Kindred Dick: il racconto ordito da Westwood Studios e riportato a nuova vita da Nightdive Studios offre nuovi spunti per comprendere la Los Angeles distopica del 2019 e i suoi abitanti. Complici un prezzo accattivante - 9.29 € nello store Nintendo - e una longevità stellare (per completare una run si impiegano mediamente dalle 4 alle 6 ore, ma i possibili finali sono ben 13), Blade Runner Enhanced Edition risulta un prodotto di sicuro interesse per chi vuole (ri)scoprire su PC, Nintendo Switch, console PlayStation o Xbox un’avventura punta e clicca di certo non perfetta, ma piena di fascino.

Breve, intenso e dotato di un paio di spunti narrativi interessanti, Industria si conferma uno sparatutto in prima persona non troppo rifinito sotto l’aspetto ludico, ma che riesce a strappare una sufficienza abbondante anche in ambito console. La futuristica distopia berlinese di cui si ritrova protagonista Nora ha il suo fascino, impossibile negarlo, sebbene le tanto decantante attinenze con Half Life 2 e Bioshock siano marginali e non legate strettamente al gameplay. Al più, Industria mi è sembrato la versione teutonica e in scala infinitesimale del tanto atteso Atomic Heart di Mundfish. Peccato per il mancato sfruttamento delle funzionalità di PlayStation, per il resto l’opera prima Bleakmill non resterà negli annali ma rappresenta un discreto esordio per la software house tedesca.
