As with all sandbox games the narrative is of your own making but this is even more true of Most Wanted. The side-effect is that it can feel aimless at times. If you desire structure, if you wanted a game to be meted out to you, you might find its instant freedom somewhat overwhelming. But Most Wanted is all about deviation and deviance. It’s the racing game for people who don’t tend to like racing games. You’re not punished for missing that apex or abandoning that nagging racing line. It’s undoubtedly one of the year’s most exhilarating experiences.

Need For Speed: Most Wanted U is still the great racing game it was last year, one that capably stands next to its big brother Burnout Paradise. It’s a more exciting racing game than that classic, even if it lacks its humor and variety. For Wii U owners starved for something to play, this is one of the best games out there. The bells and whistles Criterion adorned this release with don’t intrude on that sweet racing, but they also feel like a missed opportunity. As such, Need For Speed: Most Wanted U isn’t the definitive version it could have been.

Need for Speed: Most Wanted U es un ejemplo claro y meridiano de lo que se puede hacer con la nueva consola de Nintendo a poco que se le dedique el tiempo suficiente. Esta conversión del clásico arcade de velocidad de Criterion y Electronic Arts supera en prestaciones y poderío técnico al resto de versiones para consolas HD, aportando además nuevas funciones que le otorgan una mayor frescura. De lo mejor que es posible encontrar ahora mismo en las estanterías de títulos para Wii U.

Con diverse aggiunte molto interessanti ed un comparto tecnico di ottima fattura, Need for Speed Most Wanted inaugura quella che tutti i fan Nintendo sperano essere una proficua primavera per Wii U. Per quanto la decurtazione dei giocatori online risulti un problema abbastanza grave, l’appeal del prodotto Criterion non perde di potenza e freschezza rispetto alle controparti PC, Xbox 360 o Playstation 3, risultando grazie all’universalità dell’Autolog una decente prosecuzione dell’esperienza anche per chi avesse magari posseduto le altre versioni console e volesse riprendere in mano Most Wanted. In definitiva un titolo da consigliare a scatola chiusa!

Pura diversión y puro entretenimiento, horas casi infinitas de juego. En definitiva, un título no tan esperado por la mala caída de sus predecesores pero que merece, sin duda alguna, estar entre los mejores de su generación.

Need for Speed Most Wanted is an expertly tuned and turbocharged port that brings a superior experience to the Wii U. The game is just as good, even better than the other versions, the new Wii U features are fun and best of all it runs like a dream on Nintendo’s new console. The only caveats are the usual compulsory Origin account for multiplayer, and the frustrating fact that for now, EA won’t be releasing any more DLC for this version.

Most Wanted ci mostra il Criterion giusto per un porting su Wii U: GamePad che non è un’optional, e memoria RAM a tavoletta! Diamo un benvenuto alla miglior versione console del gioco EA, sia in termini di dinamiche di gioco (ora anche cooperative), che di mero impatto grafico. Una nuova forma a U che non cambia però la sostanza tecnica di un velocissimo racer che ha davvero una marcia in più, a patto di guidarlo online. Pena brusca frenata anticipata nell’interesse di un pilota viziato e coccolato con un parco macchine illimitato sin da subito, e con pochi traguardi offline a cui ambire.

Endlich hat Wii U ein ordentliches Rennspiel im Programm. Criterion hat ganze Arbeit bei der Umsetzung des Highspeed-Rasers geleistet, die Kulisse ist bis auf wenige Ausnahmen im Bereich der Sichtweite den Geschwistern auf PS3 oder 360 mindestens ebenbürtig und zaubert eine halsbrecherische Geschwindigkeit auf den großen oder kleinen Bildschirm. So kann Most Wanted auch auf dem „neuen“ System seine Stärken ausspielen: Die offene PS-Welt ist prall gefüllt mit Wettbewerben, die dank asynchroner Vergleiche mit den Freunden auch mittelfristig motivieren. Die Benutzerführung ist optimal gelöst und bietet mit den erweiterten Gamepad-Optionen zusätzlichen Komfort. Allerdings zeigen sich auf Wii U auch die bekannten Schwächen wie eine gewisse Redundanz der Offline-Wettbewerbe oder die Gummiband-KI. Warum die Fahrzeugauswahl über das Pad online besser gelöst wurde als offline, bleibt Criterions Geheimnis. Außerdem ist es schade, dass es offensichtlich Probleme mit einem lokalen Mehrspielermodus gab, bei dem einer auf dem großen, einer auf dem kleinen Schirm spielt. Denn das hätte das große Unterscheidungsmerkmal zu den bereits veröffentlichen Fassungen auf anderen Systemen sein können. So bleibt unter dem Strich eine vorbildliche Portierung eines richtig guten Rennspiels, das sich nach wie vor mit einigen Mankos ein Bein stellt.

Need for Speed : Most Wanted est un jeu de course plaisant, empruntant autant au précédent Most Wanted qu'à Burnout, pour un résultat certes un peu bourrin mais plutôt convaincant. La liste des voitures est peut-être un peu succincte mais les caisses sont bourrées de personnalité et le joueur jubile à chaque fois qu'il en dégote une nouvelle. Il est simplement regrettable que le système de progression un peu répétitif et quelques mécanismes de gameplay pas très équilibrés (les takedowns, les respawns...) nuisent à l'expérience de jeu. De plus, le mode copilote exclusif à cette version Wii U n'est qu'un gadget sans intérêt, alors que l'idée de départ avait tout pour plaire. Mais au final, grâce à un multi efficace et aucun temps mort, Most Wanted s'en sort avec les honneurs et s'impose comme l'un des bons jeux arcades du moment.
