PayDay 2, c'est de la bombe. Tel un vrai pro du grand banditisme, vous pouvez préparer vos casses pendant de longues minutes avec vos potes pour la jouer discret et ne jamais vous faire repérer. Vous voilà avec un jeu d'infiltration. Cependant, quand ça foire, vous êtes aux prises avec des assauts des forces spéciales. Vous voilà avec un jeu d'action. En y ajoutant l'aspect aléatoire, les imprévus, la possibilité de se barrer ou de continuer selon votre choix, la diversité des niveaux, les nombreux accessoires ou encore les spécialisations, PayDay 2 a tout ce que l'on demande à un blockbuster... Sauf qu'il est même pas à 30 euros. Sans aucun doute possible, un des jeux multi de l'année.

L'originale PAYDAY seppe imporsi nello spietato panorama videoludico moderno grazie alla sue peculiari meccaniche, ed il suo seguito, realizzato col supporto economico e l'esperienza di Starbreeze Studios, ne rappresenta una naturale evoluzione e maturazione sotto ogni punto di vista. Oltre ad offrire un impianto tecnico ed un livello di rifinitura complessivo incredibilmente superiori, infatti, in PAYDAY 2 è stato valorizzato ed approfondito soprattutto l'aspetto tattico-strategico nella pianificazione dei colpi, l'elemento chiave che insieme al carisma dei protagonisti ne decretò il successo nel 2011. Ricchissima di contenuti, longeva ed altamente rigiocabile, l'ultima fatica degli Overkill Software è sicuramente una delle migliori esperienze cooperative di questa generazione, che saprà esaltare e soddisfare soprattutto i team di giocatori più propensi all'approccio stealth ed alla strategia, piuttosto che gli amanti degli fps puri. L'acquisto è caldamente consigliato a tutti coloro che hanno apprezzato il capitolo originale e a chi ha voglia di cimentarsi - in compagnia - con un prodotto originale, stimolante e profondamente complesso, che richiede tempo e dedizione per essere apprezzato in tutte le sue molteplici e variegate sfaccettature.

Payday 2 è un gran bel gioco. Non è perfetto, ma considerando la natura della produzione (non è un tripla A) ci può stare qualche incertezza nel level design, mentre a nostro avviso è molto più grave l'evidente limite dell'intelligenza artificiale quando si gioca offline con i compagni controllati dalla CPU. Se affrontate le missioni insieme ad altri tre amici tuttavia, il problema non si pone e potrete godere dell'esperienza al meglio, sviscerandone le svariate sfaccettature, tentando l'approccio stealth, ottenendo denaro e punti esperienza da spendere in potenziamenti di varia natura, abilità, armi dal feeling diverso dal solito e dunque più affascinanti da utilizzare. Se avete apprezzato il primo episodio, adorerete questo sequel; e se non conoscete la serie, è il momento di rimediare.

Played as intended with a group of friends, PayDay 2 is much like one of its heists: things can get a little sloppy, but the potential payoff is big. Parts of its presentation are lacking, and the state of its single-player is criminal, but overall, it's a deep, addictive co-op shooter that tickled my inner burglar.

PayDay 2 est PayDay : The Heist arrivé à maturité et bien étoffé. Les défauts inhérents au genre (manque de cartes, répétitivité) sont facilement surmontables, surtout si on possède une équipe organisée qui permet de jouer tout le spectre du gameplay proposé par Overkill (bourrin et/ou furtif). On est frustré parce qu'on en veut toujours plus, mais il faudrait être de mauvaise foi pour ne pas apprécier la qualité du résultat. Profitez de l'ambiance !

The core gameplay of Payday 2 does make a fun game. Although it has many small, easily fixable, issues, none of them really ruin the experience to the point of no return and it can still be extremely enjoyable, Bain’s voice be damned. The game isn’t perfect, but there really aren’t many heist games like the Payday series, and of those that exist, none of them can even compare. Singleplayer can basically be ignored because Payday 2 knows what it is: A game designed for co-op multiplayer where players work together to complete objectives. Be it committing genocide on all the cops in Washington DC or being more stealthy than Stealth Stealtherson McStealthington, add the fact that it’s a whole 50% cheaper than most games at release and you will find that Payday 2 is a game built where you will enjoy yourself either way.

PAYDAY 2 est au final un très bon jeu de tir en coopération. Il est plutôt joli et bien plus riche et plus ambitieux que son prédécesseur. Le seul petit bémol : jouer avec trois amis vous offre une bien meilleure expérience de jeu à tous les niveaux. PAYDAY 2 est passé à très peu de choses d'être le FPS de l'année, fallait-il encore qu'il soit mieux fini.

Payday 2 bringt viele gute Ansätze mit: Die dynamischen Karten, die Möglichkeit, den Tatort vorher auszuspähen sowie unauffällige Raubzüge versprechen ein spannendes Räuber-und-Gendarm-Spiel. Die umfangreichen Freischaltungen und Verbesserungsmöglichkeiten motivieren und die Anzahl der Einsätze kann sich durchaus sehen lassen. Sobald der Titel aber bei Kontakt mit der Polizei zu einem Shooter mutiert, gehen viele dieser guten Ansätze verloren. Die Shootermechanik ist durchschnittlich und die Gegner-KI enttäuschend. Gefahr kommt nur durch massive Überzahl und den präzisen Beschuss der Polizisten auf, die selbst bei kleinen Überfällen in lächerlich großer Zahl ins Jenseits befördert werden. Dazu kommt die überaus unsaubere und extrem unansehliche Kulisse, die unter Tearing (PC) sowie Dauerruckeln (PS3, 360) leidet und das Spiel oft an die Grenze der Spielbarkeit bringt. Dennoch kann der Shooter gerade im Koop mit Freunden solide unterhalten, insbesondere wenn ein Überfall nach guter Planung erst sehr spät in eine wüste Schießerei ausartet.

Es un shooter bastante corriente y falto de pulimento. Su modo cooperativo le da un pequeño plus, pero no compensa las múltiples carencias técnicas y narrativas. Habrá que esperar a GTA V para ver atracos de postín.

Payday 2: Crimewave Edition isn't broken to the point of being unplayable, but it has just enough issues to make it annoying. While the dynamic, exciting gameplay that Payday fans have come to expect is certainly here, this port would have wound up better with a bit more polish and testing. The combination of a sluggish user interface and enjoyment-deflating connection issues makes for a frustrating experience rather than an exciting one. For every moment of joy, there's a moment that will leave you scratching your head in confusion. In a couple of months, there's little doubt that Overkill and 505 Games will have all of the issues ironed out, but as it stands, it's a bit difficult to wholeheartedly recommend Payday 2: Crimewave Edition at launch.
