Loco y frenético a partes iguales, Gotham City Impostors es un gran juego de acción multijugador con mucha personalidad, muy buen sentido del humor, infinitas opciones de personalización y una jugabilidad tan directa e intensa que nos ha encantado. Amante o no del género, es un título muy a tener en cuenta.

Gotham City Impostors is a solid shooter wrapped inside of an entertaining tongue and cheek presentation,which results in a very enjoyable game.The core gameplay is right in line with everything that you would expect in a modern shooter but it just so happens to also include a great sense of humor and and a great presentation style. Batman and shooter fans alike will find plenty to enjoy with the game but end up wishing that had more maps and match types in the long run.

Gotham City Impostors, pur possedendo evidenti limiti, è un prodotto ben confezionato e divertente. Sebbene permanga l’idea di un improprio sfruttamento del brand di Batman, al di là della profonda possibilità di personalizzare il proprio avatar, a spiccare è un gameplay galvanizzato dalla presenza dei gadget che donano una varietà e una profondità irraggiungibile da altri colleghi prodotti negli ultimi tempi. Un comparto grafico-sonoro degno di questo nome e un gran numero di sbloccabili, infine, donano al titolo una sufficiente godibilità estetica e una longevità virtualmente altissima. Gotham City Impostors è insomma consigliato a tutti gli amanti del genere. Non si tratta di un capolavoro, ma è sicuramente capace di elargire numerose ore di sano divertimento.

Gotham City Impostors is a functional shooter with a sense of humor and a Batman license. It's got plenty to unlock, but it's not all that deep. Go, shoot, win. Over and over. If you're looking for a first-person shooter that doesn't take itself seriously, have at it, but don't expect a FPS revolution.

Ich hatte mit Gotham City Impostors mehr Spaß als ich ursprünglich erwartet hatte. Auch wenn das Ballern mit Personalisierungs- sowie Ausrüstungsmöglichkeiten wahrlich nicht neu ist, sorgen kleine Ideen für eine angenehme Frische. Vor allem die bislang häufig ungenutzte Einbindung der Vertikalen sorgt auf den gut designten und von der Größe nahezu perfekt auf die maximal zwölf Spieler abgestimmten Karten für Abwechslung: Man kann nie sicher sein, aus welcher Richtung die Gegner einen jetzt angreifen. Etwas umfangreicher hätten sich die Erben Batmans jedoch zeigen können. Gerade mal fünf Karten und drei Spielmodi stehen zur Verfügung, auf denen sich das Matchmaking häufig Fehltritte mit unbalancierten Gruppen erlaubt. Zusätzlich stört mich die zu starke Einbindung der so genannten Micro-Transactions, also das Kaufen zusätzlicher Inhalte aus dem Spiel heraus. Vieles davon kann man zwar auch mit der Zeit freischalten, doch die Förderung einer Zweiklassen-Gesellschaft steht der Unterhaltung im Weg. Und wieso müssen PC-User zusätzlich zu Steam mit Games for Windows Live durch Gotham ziehen? Trotz dieser Ärgernisse wird hier Multiplayer-Action auf solidem Niveau erreicht.

Gotham City Imposteurs est un FPS multijoueur bourré de bonnes idées et qui a la bon goût de ne pas se prendre au sérieux. Il vous réserve certainement quelques parties aussi endiablées que loufoques mais on a du mal à pardonner les excès de son modèle économique. Vous aurez en effet vraiment l'impression de jouer à un free-to-play payant...
