Zelda: Breath of the Wild - Nintendo Switch 2 Edition is undoubtedly the best way to play one of the greatest games of all time. The visual and performance enhancements remove any issues that you may have had to endure with the original game. It's practically flawless from that perspective.

Hogwarts Legacy sur Switch 2 constitue une belle surprise. Là où l’on pouvait craindre un portage au rabais, Avalanche Software livre une adaptation soignée, équilibrée et fidèle. Bien que des limitations techniques subsistent, l’essentiel est conservé : l’exploration, l’univers, la magie, l’immersion. Graphiquement moins ambitieux et verrouillé à 30 fps, le jeu reste fluide, maniable, et surtout complet. Son principal atout : une portabilité native, sans streaming, offrant une expérience magique partout, à tout moment. Les fans de la saga y trouveront le compagnon de voyage idéal. Les nouveaux venus apprécieront un RPG généreux, pour peu qu’ils soient sensibles à l’univers d’Harry Potter. Pour une qualité visuelle optimale, les versions next-gen restent à privilégier. Mais pour une aventure envoûtante à emporter, cette version Switch 2 est une excellente alternative.

Street Fighter 6 es el primer gran juego de lucha en Switch 2, que además se pone casi al nivel del resto de versiones: gráficos muy vistosos y fluidos, aun con recortes en detalles, pero que es capaz de trasladar una experiencia igual de divertida, online incluido. Lástima que detalles como los 30 fps en World Tour, le impidan brillar más.

Split Fiction sigue siendo la misma divertida aventura cooperativa que, con unos sacrificios mínimos, luce de maravilla en Nintendo Switch 2 y, lo que es mejor, riza el rizo a la hora de ofrecer opciones para compartir la aventura, incluido usar GameShare con una Switch 1 que no mueve el juego de manera nativa. Bravo, Hazelight.

Mario Kart World Mario Kart World è destinato ad essere un titolo storico. Non solo ha l'onore di accompagnare il lancio della nuova generazione Nintendo, ma ha altresì l'onere di evolvere la solida formula di Mario Kart 8 Deluxe. Il risultato finale riesce tuttavia ad andare oltre il semplice miglioramento, finendo con il rappresentare un vera rivoluzione per lo storico franchise. Le nuove introduzioni di gameplay (il grinding ed il wall running) sono talmente impattanti sul modo di leggere ed approcciare le gare che rendono World un'autentica novità anche per i giocatori più esperti. In quest'ottica, a non convincere pienamente è tuttavia la struttura open world (che poteva e probabilmente doveva essere migliore) così come una componente multigiocatore che, quantomeno in questo momento, fatica a trovare un equilibrio tra il numero incrementato di giocatori ed il marasma caotico di armi. Ancora più profondo rispetto al passato e con una quantità enciclopedica di contenuti, il ritorno di Mario sulle piste è l'archetipo del perfetto titolo di lancio. Nintendo Switch 2 Welcome Tour is a charming concept, mixing an interactive instruction manual with minigames and tech demos that show off the Switch 2’s coolest features in a hands-on way. The execution of that idea, however, is a somewhat muddled collection of quaint distractions and missed opportunities dressed up as a completionist checklist without much point. This digital showroom is littered with dry informational slideshows that only occasionally feel like they are actually allowed to share something interesting. And while the minigames can be briefly amusing, it was almost never in a way that made me excited to push my high scores or check every single box. Tie that up in a world that’s cute to look at but obnoxious to progress through, and you’ve got a Switch 2 showcase that I certainly had fun with at times, but left me wishing I had just been exploring my new console with an actual game instead. It’s not worth your money and, even if it were the free pack-in game it feels like it was always meant to be, it would only barely be worth your time.

Born Punk is a game that I really wanted to enjoy more than I did. The thought that kept coming to my mind while playing was, “squandered potential.” The visuals are a treat. The world feels fully realized and is alive with animation. The characters convey a lot of personality through their pixelated sprites and excellent voice work. As evidenced by the lore pages, a lot of thought went into the world-building aspects. It’s unfortunate, then, that it’s all undermined by the tediously extended prologue, the underutilization of cyberspace tools, the highly overwritten dialogs, the characters’ lack of interest in their own AI-infested conditions, and the fact that the most engaging part of the story only starts in the closing seconds of the game. As an opportunity to take in the sights of the rain-drenched streets of Bornholm, this game is a delight. But for those who prefer a little more substance with their style, best to look elsewhere. The Precinct est un GTA like qui tourne finalement assez rapidement en boucle et ce, jusqu’à la fin de la quête principale. Dans une ville d’Averno City sens dessus dessous, vous aurez du travail, la faute à des citoyens quelque peu agités. Si nous avons apprécié la trame principale qui sert de fil rouge, il faut admettre que le gameplay du titre souffre tout de même de multiples défauts qui pourront interroger, voire énerver le joueur. Malgré la présence de quelques bugs encore, le tout est finalement agréable à jouer, et interroger les suspects ainsi que les fouiller est réellement plaisant, bien que redondant. Avec quelques activités annexes proposées dans un monde ouvert à taille humaine, le résultat proposé est finalement un peu décevant. Peut-être en attendions-nous trop de ce projet…
