Jump Force is a good time for a short time; a simplistic button-masher that looks and sounds great in action but can't deliver in terms of providing players with any more than a handful of hours of dumb fun before it all becomes a bit of a bore. If you're a huge fan of the shows involved or you like your fighting nice and easy you'll get more than most out of things and jumping into an online battle – if you can find one – adds a little spice to the mix but, overall, this is a disappointingly dull, one-note affair that doesn't do its roster of ever-popular characters any sort of justice.

Fast & Furious Crossroads conferma le brutte sensazioni suscitate fin dal primo annuncio del gioco, consegnandoci un racer arcade caratterizzato da una trama perfettamente in linea con quella degli episodi della saga cinematografica, peraltro con la partecipazione di un discreto cast di attori, ma confusionario e privo di personalità sul fronte del gameplay e della struttura. Le missioni sono un mix di situazioni caotiche, la pessima grafica non contribuisce in alcun modo a renderle più digeribili e le poche buone idee messe in campo (la possibilità di passare da un personaggio all'altro, i dispositivi diversi per ogni veicolo) non sono state implementate in maniera convincente, peraltro nell'ambito di una campagna che si completa in quattro ore scarse nonostante il prezzo pieno.

Non c'è niente di male. Nulla di male, a inseguire i AAA, i teraFLOP, le texture in 8K, la conta poligonale di un medium videoludico che ogni tanto sembra ritenere che fotorealismo e qualità possano ritenersi sinonimi. Solo, ogni tanto, vale la pena concedersi un po' di tempo — perché mentre siamo impegnati a fare tutt'altro, i remi continuano a spingere in avanti la nostra barchetta. Verso dove, chi può dirlo? Nemmeno Ember ha la risposta. Ma quell'ultimo falò, questo The Last Campfire, è un innocentemente valido, intrattenente e coinvolgente modo per ragionarci su.

Fans de toujours et amateurs de Beat’Em All à l’ancienne, soyez rassurés, Streets of Rage 4 est le digne successeur de la série. Si l’on peut regretter un mode Histoire assez court et un faible nombre de stages, le jeu se montre particulièrement réussi sur tous les autres fronts. Brutal, fun, difficile (mais pas injustement) et aussi beau pour les yeux que pour les oreilles, le jeu de Dotemu, Lizarcube et Guard Crush Games prouvent que les Français peuvent rendre justice à la baston à la japonaise. Si vous aimez vous balader dans des quartiers virtuels remplis de vilains à tabasser, ne cherchez plus : Streets of Rage 4 est le candidat idéal.

WRC 9 is a beautiful game that will speak to the enthusiast. There are a plethora of modes, and the career offering is packed with plenty of ways to customize your experience. The only issue I have is I don’t see myself returning to it often because of its esoteric nature. I’m not the target audience, and while that’s okay, new players may feel a bit excluded.
