Tomba! Special Edition perfectly preserves the 1997 classic. The game is just as good as it was back then, and perhaps even better now with tons of quality of life features and extras. This is an incredibly special game, and I hope it finally gets the recognition it deserves.

Coal Supper y Panic presentan Thank Goodness You're Here!, una corta y divertida aventura por la que merece la pena pasar. Es un auténtico regalo para los jugadores, especialmente para aquellos que sientan debilidad por el humor absurdo, y un toque refrescante para la industria que todos conocemos.

If you’re starving for more Star Wars nourishment in videogame form and you haven’t given Star Wars: Bounty Hunter a whirl, there are far worse games that make use of the Star Wars license. It can be a blast to blast around linear levels with Boba Fett and his jetpack while repelling galactic grunts, but no matter how slick the remaster job is, it cannot hide how old this twenty-plus year old game is, and the frustrations inherent within it are too apparent to ignore. So Bounty Hunter isn’t the worst Star Wars outing and the remaster doesn’t do a bad job, but just like the original game, it might be worthwhile for Star Wars geeks to froth over, but it’s otherwise a despairingly middling affair. So go give Jango and go, but this one doesn’t steal the show and it sorta blows.

The Operator è un'avventura molto particolare, che si sforze - e riesce abbastanza - di portare qualcosa di diverso al pubblico. Intrigante nella narrazione, ben realizzato a livello tecnico, e con i soli nei di essere un po' troppo guidato in alcune sezioni, e troppo breve in generale. Che un seguito del titolo possa essere all'orizzonte e ci porti qualcosa di ancora più curato?

SteamWorld Heist 2’s charming adventure refines the original game’s clever turn-based combat with a flexible mix-and-match class system and handmade maps that are built around using teamwork to accomplish their objectives and escape unscathed. On top of that, it serves up a light and entertaining real-time nautical exploration game as a palette cleanser between battles, and swapping between them helps things stay fresh for more than twice the first game’s 15-hour length. It’s occasionally mired in grinding to unlock the next area and the skill system will make you waste a lot of XP if you don’t know what’s coming, but there’s no shortage of loot, amusingly off-kilter robot characters, and fantastic original folksy music along the way.

Expérience de taille raisonnable, vendue moins de tente euros, SteamWorld Heist II sait malgré tout captiver, et a les armes pour tenir en haleine pendant longtemps. Rigolo et pourvu d’une galerie de personnages attachants, ce Tactical-RPG à la vue de côté reprend la recette de son prédécesseur, et l’améliore par petites touches, en s’offrant par dessus le marché tout un monde à explorer pour casser la routine. Une excellente pioche, qu’on recommande même à ceux qui ne connaissent pas la franchise.

SteamWorld Heist II è contenutisticamente più ricco e graficamente più bello del predecessore, del quale eredita e potenzia tutte le caratteristiche principali, contribuendo ad arricchirne il contesto narrativo (senza stravolgimenti di sorta). È il classico titolo perfetto sia per chi inizia da zero, senza sapere assolutamente nulla del mondo narrativo di SteamWorld, sia per i veterani - per i quali sono pensate le tante citazioni al capitolo precedente. Il suo bilanciamento tra combattimenti a turno ed esplorazione in tempo reale, condito da una mole considerevole di armi, oggetti e segreti, lo rendono una delle produzioni alle quali dovreste assolutamente garantire una chance. Purché l'ovvia ripetitività di situazioni e combattimenti non vi spaventi... del resto, la ciclicità ha in sé anche aspetti positivi e confortevoli, soprattutto se - come in questo caso - continua a divertire anche dopo parecchie ore.

Steamworld Heist 2 is a charming, generous and surprisingly challenging seafaring romp. From its fun filled real time sailing to its refreshingly tactile twist on turn-based gunplay, Image and Form’s pirate romp breathes a welcome breeze into an often stuffy genre.
