Jusant may seem like a game about just scaling a tower, but the calmness of the climb manifests itself in a way that feels peaceful in the ascension. Movement is focused and deliberate without feeling clunky, and the involvement of the terrain is wonderful. The breezy cliff sides and beautiful landscapes make for a short and sweet experience that anyone can appreciate.

Jusant è un'esperienza particolare e non spiacevole, ma pare perlopiù un'occasione sprecata. Il sistema di scalata, con tutti i suoi piccoli sistemi di interazione, genera un'esperienza di gioco fluida, molto semplice, ma che si esaurisce velocemente e senza mai un vero picco di intensità ludica. La torre è un bel luogo da scoprire, sia dal punto di vista estetico che narrativo, ma dovete fare attenzione: perdere una manciata di collezionabili rischia di farvi vivere un'esperienza molto limitata, in quanto col semplice avanzamento non si scopre alcunché.

En plus d'offrir une expérience de jeu originale, avec des mécaniques empruntées à l'escalade, Jusant parvient à insuffler une bonne dose de magie grâce à une direction artistique maitrisée de bout en bout, amenant un dénouement totalement inattendu. Disposant d'un excellent rythme, le jeu de Don't Nod fait partie de ces titres qui incitent le joueur à ne jamais lâcher la manette, avec un gameplay et un univers qui se renouvellent tout au long de l'aventure. Une belle réussite, qui laissera certainement de beaux souvenirs aux joueurs sensibles à ce type d'univers.

Jusant es una de las mejores experiencias del año en el mundo de los videojuego. Puede que no te llegue su mensaje, que la escalada no te llame, o que el estilo artístico lowpoly no te apele directamente... Pero es innegable que Don't Nod nos brinda una joya de apenas unas horas de duración que merece todo el reconocimiento que podamos darle. Su demo ya apuntaba maneras, pero el juego final es tan redondo como presuponíamos los más optimistas.

Malgré un manque de finition flagrant au moment d’écrire ces lignes, Jusant est une belle aventure dépaysante et contemplative qui devrait faire aimer l’escalade dans un jeu vidéo à pas mal de monde. La narration environnementale est bien construite, sympathique et intéressante à suivre du début à la fin. Le gameplay et le level design sont bien pensés. La direction artistique est colorée, soignée et agréable à l’œil. L’ambiance sonore est immersive et relaxante à souhait. Quant à la durée de vie, assez courte, elle est honnête pour le genre et surtout parfaitement adaptée à l’expérience imaginée ici par DON’T NOD. Un très bon jeu en somme.

I don’t have the upper body strength or ambition to take to the multicoloured wall, but if the act of bouldering was half as serene and beautiful as Jusant makes it seem, I would be getting a membership this very moment. Once accustomed to them, the deliberate climbing mechanics combined with the environmental elements create an engaging and enjoyable experience. Despite a lack of emotional depth, the subtle story carries an important message, and the constantly evolving visual style surprises and delights at every turn. It may lose grip every once and a while on the ascent, but Jusant confidently reaches the summit.

Avec Jusant, Don't Nod nous montre une fois de plus que le jeu vidéo ne s'arrête pas aux combats et à la compétition. Le studio réalise encore une prouesse émotionnelle avec un jeu qui parle beaucoup sans utiliser ses cordes vocales. Jusant n'est pas qu'un jeu d'escalade, c'est surtout un personnage qui remonte le fil de son histoire pour nous faire découvrir des récits poignants dans un écrin de douceur. Du style visuel, à sa dynamique équilibrée, en passant par son gameplay épineux, Jusant réussit à nous combler avec un système de jeu pourtant modeste. C'est aussi une merveille sonore que l'on se doit de vous recommander, même simplement pour l'immersion qu'il nous procure. De la poésie l'état pur.

Despite one or two missteps, Jusant hangs together thanks to a well-realised, unique location and, more importantly, a fun and engaging way to interact with it. The climbing at its core is wonderfully tactile and finds a balance between complexity and accessibility. The spire of rock you're ascending is an interesting place to explore, gradually shifting into new environments as you ascend. We're not totally sold on the story, and the animation and camera can be clumsy every so often, but the game remains a solid, meditative adventure throughout.

Headbangers: Rhythm Royale è un party game tutti contro tutti assurdo e divertente. Gli sviluppatori hanno preso il concetto alla base dei rhythm game e lo hanno declinato in minigiochi folli con temi che vanno dal western alla musica disco, dall'hip hop agli show a premi anni '80, in un'esperienza in grado di regalare sorrisi e serate di divertimento a distanza tra amici che si incontrano online. La barriera d'ingresso data dal prezzo non aiuterà il gioco a fare grandi numeri al lancio, ma potrebbe renderlo sostenibile a livello economico e dare agli autori le risorse per aggiungere non solo cosmetici (di cui ce n'è a bizzeffe, uno più ridicolo dell'altro) ma nuovi minigiochi per mantenere l'esperienza fresca. L'incognita più grande, infatti, è la longevità perché è un titolo facile da imparare e da padroneggiare. L'arrivo sul Game Pass darà sicuramente una mano a far arrivare questo battle royale musicale sotto gli occhi di chi è alla ricerca di un'esperienza divertente e leggera per passare una serata on line con gli amici, lì dove Headbangers: Rhythm Royale è al suo meglio.

Headbangers Rhythm Royale si è rivelato piacevole, coinvolgente e costantemente stimolante. I diversi minigiochi casuali riescono a intrattenere per molteplici ore senza mai dare spazio alla frustrazione. Il gameplay è ben strutturato, sebbene in alcuni momenti il caos puro ci abbia mandato in tilt e abbiamo dovuto mettere alla prova le nostre abilità di multitasking (e i nostri riflessi non sempre allenati). Tuttavia, gli aspetti principali del gioco lo rendono davvero perfetto per trascorrere una serata in compagnia. Che siate amanti del genere o semplici giocatori alla ricerca di un’esperienza spensierata, questo titolo è decisamente consigliato.
