Samba de Amigo: Party Central es un juego musical increíblemente divertido. Estar con los Joy-Con en las manos meneando el cuerpo al ritmo de auténticos temazos mientras hacemos posturas ridículas es lo mejor de lo mejor. Que además el juego lea relativamente bien nuestros movimientos, tengamos múltiples modos para seguir bailoteando y haya simpatía máxima en cada rincón es la guinda del pastel. Es cierto que el modo historia de la versión de Apple habría estado bien. Y que algunas misiones se pasan con la dificultad. O que los DLCs de lanzamiento siempre duelen. Pero luego pensamos en que estamos riéndonos a carcajada limpia mientras bailamos La Bamba y muchos otros temas más mientras imitamos a un mono con maracas. Es diversión y estupidez en su máxima expresión, que es justo la magia de los clásicos de SEGA que los hace tan grande.

Firewall Ultra se siente como un juego que ha salido en acceso anticipado y es muy difícil recomendaros que lo juguéis en su estado actual. Mecánicas pobres para la VR, un matchmaking medio roto, largas esperas para jugar, solo dos modos de juego, varias características que no están activas todavía y ausencia total de explicaciones para entender el juego. Puede que dentro de un año la experiencia mejore, pero PS VR2 y PS5 no se merecen esto.

Armored Core VI Fires Of Rubicon is the best manifestation of FromSoftware’s long-running series. There’s definitely a new Soul inside its Core, unlike any entry before, but also brings about a level of polish and tighter game design that it never had before. The intense boss fights, when you are attuned to what the game demands you off, are adrenaline-pumping fun but it could have been paced out better. The AC customisation is still engrossing with choices upon choices to create that perfect mecha for your playstyle. The presentation and polish here show the true potential of its predecessors that never was realised in full, now being developed by a team of hardened veterans that have shipped multi-million copy blockbuster games. At its core, it’s still a mecha-action game that is structured like the older games. Whether you are a seasoned Raven/Lynx/pilot or not, should you be up for a challenge, AC VI is an action game unlike any other major releases coming this year. May the Fires Of Rubicon continue to be set alight by more and more players jumping into the series. I am already counting days until the next entry arrives.

It has been a while since I have had the need/want to replay a game over and over because of the carrot and stick. Astro Flame Starfighter gives a good balance of making you want to play more because of the enjoyment factor and the need to upgrade your ship to finish off the level/mission or get the 3 stars you wanted for completing said mission. Graphics are good when playing and handling of your ship is good too. Each boss has its own unique look and attack which was a good surprise.

Armored Core VI: Fires of Rubicon è un gioco con luci e ombre: da un lato c'è un sistema di combattimento ben confezionato, adrenalinico, divertente e di ispirazione "sekiriana" nell'aver aggiunto la meccanica dell'SCA per stordire i nemici; gli si accompagna una quantità ottima di contenuti, ben diluita fra le tre partite necessarie a vedere tutto quello che il gioco ha da offrire, nonché un soddisfacente numero di equipaggiamenti per costruire la nostra build ideale - al netto di un'utilità non sempre omogenea fra le diverse parti. Tutto questo viene però oscurato da una gestione della curva di difficoltà molto fuori fuoco, che dà una battuta d'arresto ingiustificata in almeno un momento di trama, una telecamera la cui gestione dopo tutti questi anni non dovrebbe più essere un problema e l'evidenza che i boss ignorino fin troppo le regole stesse imposte dal gioco, dando vita a una difficoltà artificiale difficile da digerire. Supera la prova del tempo, dunque, rivelandosi dopo dieci anni un valido punto di ripartenza per la serie, ma proprio in virtù della non poca esperienza accumulata da From Software nel frattempo mi sarei aspettata più cura sotto certi aspetti.

S'il traine les bandelettes d'une fraîche résurrection, Armored Core VI en a sous le capot de ses méchas. Vif, prenant, parfois hypnotique, il invite à rejouer, à réarranger, à tester, à s'amuser. En un mot : Oui !
