Pour finir ce test, voici mon avis final ainsi que les plus et les moins de The Settlers : New Allies. Le jeu est très simple à prendre en main et sera ravi les casuals gamers et les amoureux de ce genre de licence. Les hardcore gamers (PVP) risquent d’être frustrés par le manque de possibilités dans le jeu là où les concurrents font mieux. À mes yeux, ça n’est pas ce qu’on m’avait vendu à la Gamescom et j’en reste très déçu, car le jeu n’a de The Settlers que le nom. Si vous y jouez, je vous invite à ne pas attendre un reboot, mais plutôt à le découvrir comme un énième The Settlers, sinon vous risquez d’avoir le même effet que celui que j’ai ressenti.

Octopath Traveler II es un más y mejor de manual: un juego que quizás no consiga que los detractores del primero cambien de idea, pero que gracias a sus novedades y mejoras encandilará a los amantes de los turnos y los JRPG tradicionales.

In definitiva, Tales of Symphonia Remastered è una riproposizione che arriva in un momento certamente ricco di JRPG, mostrando una narrativa ancora oggi incredibile e una struttura di gioco assolutamente intrigante e divertente. Longevo, particolareggiato e commovente, stiamo parlando di uno dei capisaldi della serie Tales of, nonché di un prodotto che meritava tuttavia maggiore fortuna, soprattutto come porting. Al netto di qualche piccolo difetto, resta l’esperienza inalterata e affascinante di un tempo, che speriamo possiate vivere nonostante i suoi difetti.

Like A Dragon: Ishin! is truly a must-play for long-time series fans as it features compelling gameplay, great visuals, and a treasure trove of incredible characters, all of which should be familiar to Yakuza series players.

Overall, if you found yourself a fan of Deliver Us The Moon and wanted more, Deliver Us Mars will no doubt have you feeling thrilled. If you’ve yet to play that however then this is still a perfectly enjoyable title in its own right too, and whilst the opening hour can feel like it’s dragging a little, the story soon picks up and feels compelling enough to get you through to find out just what’s been going on. There are noticeable improvements here too and whilst there is still some stiffness and clunkiness to work around, Deliver Us Mars is a game well worth a look if you want something memorable.

Al di là di una veste grafica coloratissima, ispirata e molto piacevole, nonché a una certa immediatezza e facilità d’utilizzo che lo rendono un gioco senz’altro più accessibile per un neofita (e per chi fosse un po’ intimorito dalla complessità di certi gestionali), l’ultimo lavoro di Ubisoft Düsseldorf è purtroppo da considerare come un esperimento fallito. New Allies sembra non sapere bene che tipo di gioco vuole essere e rimane un po’ a metà fra le sue origini da city-builder stratificato e fra il tentativo di rinnovarsi avvicinandosi maggiormente allo stile di strategici in tempo reale come Age of Empires, ma il risultato tristemente è quello di non riuscire a convincere pienamente né come gestionale né tanto meno come RTS.

Acquire ha migliorato la formula di Octopath Traveler sotto ogni aspetto, trovando finalmente la quadra. Nella smania di aggiustare tutto quello che non andava, però, ha anche finito per riproporre un po' troppe dinamiche e soluzioni del primo gioco, a cominciare dalla narrativa sciolta che farà storcere ancora il naso a chi preferisce le storie più corali, pur essendo scritta indiscutibilmente meglio. Per questo motivo, in un mondo ideale dovremmo sconsigliare Octopath Traveler 2 a chi ha già dedicato tante ore al primo per via delle troppo similitudini, ma questo vorrebbe dire che lo aveva apprezzato e non c'è ragione per cui non debba amare alla follia questo ottimo sequel.

The wait has been worth it: Like a Dragon: Ishin! is another great instalment in RGG Studio's series. An often gripping story is made even better by the game's historical leanings, while a rewardingly intricate combat system gives the gameplay an addictive hook. Add all of those typically barmy Yakuza side activities into the mix, along with some delightful references to past games, and you've got the makings of a fan favourite.

Los emocionantes momentos álgidos de Horizon: Call of the Mountain lo elevan lo suficiente por encima de su mecánica de escalada, a menudo monótona, para crear una divertida primera entrega en la biblioteca de PS VR 2.

Horizon: Call of the Mountain es una gran forma de empezar la andanza con las PSVR 2, ya que saca bastante partido a muchas de las características del nuevo hardware, mostrando un buen apartado gráfico al que se le unen unas sólidas mecánicas de escalada y de combate, aunque no invente nada nuevo. Aquí la escalada es incluso más importante que luchar, y contiene un buen puñado de herramientas que van haciendo más complejo y divertido nuestro ascenso. El combate es muy satisfactorio, aunque a veces algo restringido a las arenas debido a su forma de encarar a los enemigos, con un movimiento que orbita alrededor de los mismos. No es quizá la experiencia más original, ya que se alza a lomos de otros juegos que ya sacaron partido a estas mecánicas, pero sabe aportar su visión y dar variedad en sus 7 u 8 horas de duración, alternando estas características principales con algunos puzles, coleccionables y momentos en los que, simplemente, contemplar la belleza del mundo.

Like A Dragon: Ishin! does exactly what it says on the box. It takes the recognisable characters that have appeared throughout the series and transformed them into 19th-century analogs. The super dramatic storyline, backstabs and betrayals remain pleasingly offset with the eccentric substories that feature memorable characters in the wildest of circumstances. Kiryu-Ryōma-Saito remains the ever-loveable stone-faced uncle driven by honour, stoically seeking the goodness in hearts everywhere before curb stomping a handsy mugger.
