Shovel Knigh Dig es otro acierto en el universo del caballero de la pala, un roguelite que, sin alejarse en exceso de la fórmula del género y lo visto en otros juegos del personaje, logra darle una vuelta para que se sienta algo fresco. Y lo consigue. Diversión asegurada para los amantes del roguelite más ágil y desenfadado.

Session may be reminiscent of the similarly hardcore 2020 skateboarding simulation, Skater XL, but it picks up where its rival stalled by arriving with a far more substantial map selection, plus a simple campaign that stitches it all together. I also can’t deny the addictive charm of seeking out a spot and having dozens of attempts at sticking a slick trick sequence, for no other reason than it looks cool as hell when you nail it. Despite its unfinished feel and the unflinching precision it requires to play, I really am finding it rewarding and relaxing. However, while Creā-ture Studios’ unapologetically difficult-to-master ode to skateboarding is packed with a palpable love for the sport, it’s also packed with a few too many frustrating bugs – and its unsympathetic tutorial and mission design severely undermines its approachability.

Session: Skate Sim nasce con l'idea di offrire il primo, vero simulatore agli amanti dello skate, rifiutando del tutto l'anima arcade e il sistema di punteggio di tutti gli altri titoli dedicati allo sport in questione pubblicati fino ad oggi. In questo riesce alla perfezione: è tecnico, preciso, esigente, anche ai livelli di difficoltà più bassi; pretende molto, con una curva di apprendimento impegnativa e un sistema di controllo ingegnoso, ma sa anche dare soddisfazioni una volta che si riesce a padroneggiare perfettamente la propria tavola. La progressione consiste, però, in una serie di missioni per nulla accattivanti, e in un sistema di personalizzazione di avatar e skateboard che lascia il tempo che trova; il tutto senza neppure vantare un comparto tecnico significativo, né una direzione artistica particolarmente ispirata. È chiaro: il prodotto è consigliato agli amanti dello sport in questione, e a nessun altro. Provare (e cadere a terra) per credere.

Session: Skate Sim is undoubtedly a love letter to skateboarding enthusiasts that embraces the realistic aspects of the sport, but it might not appeal to everyone with its convoluted control scheme, and it still needs more polishing.

À l'heure actuelle, One Punch Man : The Strongest est un gacha tout ce qu'il y a de plus classique qui s'adresse avant tout aux fans du manga et de l'anime. Cela passe d'abord par une production value qui rappelle l'oeuvre de ONE et Yusuke Murata, avec des passages de la série et le doublage original, mais aussi des animations soignées. Après cette étape, on est en face d'un jeu de rôle free-to-play avec des combats au tour par tour comme on a l'habitude de voir pour les adaptations de shonen à succès. Mais au-delà de ça, l'expérience est aussi quelque peu gâchée par une interface chargée qui ne facilite pas la lecture de l'écran. Un titre à réserver aux fans donc.

One Punch Man - The Strongest è un tie-in come ormai se ne vedono tanti, un RPG strategico con combattimenti a turni ed elementi gacha che strizza inevitabilmente l'occhio alle solite meccaniche freemium che nelle prime ore elargiscono ricompense e vittorie a manetta, salvo poi tirare fuori l'immancabile paywall con i nemici che diventano fortissimi e la nostra squadra costretta a rigiocare le missioni o a cimentarsi con le sfide alternative per ottenere i potenziamenti necessari ad andare avanti... oppure a pagare per progredire più rapidamente.
