Puzzle Quest : Challenge of the Warlords est un très bon jeu, un des rares représentants de son genre. Complet, long, et proposant un système de jeu accrocheur pour peu que vous aimiez les jeux de rôle originaux. Et si vous êtes amateur de puzzles, bah vous aimerez aussi.

Valve réussit un étrange pari, celui de rafraîchir un gameplay éculé. Parfait complément à d'autres softs en passe de devenir des usines à gaz tant leur déroulement est complexe, TF2 s'impose comme un titre qui s'aborde comme on le souhaite, comme un pro ou comme un béotien mais avec un seul but clair et assumé : se marrer en ligne sans trop se prendre la tête. Ne lui manque qu'un nombre de maps plus fourni.

Puzzle Quest was a pleasant surprise when it was released on handhelds earlier this year, and the PC version continues its tradition of excellence. The unlikely marriage of puzzle gameplay with RPG mechanics makes for one of the most addictive experiences available to gamers today. The sound hiccups are unfortunate but not enough to dent its armor. It's also a bit cheaper than the portable versions. If you haven't played Puzzle Quest, yet, this is a no-brainer download. If you have, though, whether or not the PC version warrants another purchase is a question of how badly you want to play online.

SEGA Rally Revo is a game made for perfectionists. Working your way through the single player game is a great challenge as you race against ever increasing competition. The gameplay is great and it looks like the visual representation of "happy," but it may not be for everyone as we've been spoiled by racing game after racing game that keep upping the ante in variety and presentation. By any measure, it has solid racing mechanics. But then, variety is the spice of life and this title could use a bit more.

Un vero e proprio disastro. Un “non gioco” che propone su schermo solo chaos disorganizzato. Le poche buone idee presentate sono rovinate da un gameplay approssimativo e sconclusionato. In questo gioco non è mai chiaro cosa fare, né perché farlo, e (cosa ancor più peggiore) non si ha mai la sensazione di avere il benchè minimo controllo sulle evoluzioni del proprio alter-ego. L’abilità del giocatore, del resto, non è mai chiamata in causa in un gioco dove non è neppure possibile perdere. Se siete molestati da un figlio, un nipote, un parente o una scimmia ammaestrata, invaghiti della serie televisiva ma totalmente inabili nei videogiochi, questa è la vostra occasione per tenerli occupati per lungo tempo. Altrimenti state ben lontani da quello che, a tutti gli effetti, può essere considerato un totale fallimento videoludico.

FIFA 08 seems to represent the classic videogame mistake. It’s not a bad game by any stretch of the imagination and will likely satisfy football diehards a bit more than past entries in the series, but one can’t help but wonder just how good the whole package could have been if EA Sports had just held the game back until the online Be a Pro Mode was finished. As it stands the mode will get no attention, and likely won’t be as large a part of the game experience as it should have been. Check back next season when the feature set to FIFA is finally complete and the gameplay has been tuned a bit more, until then the game will be known as good rather than great.

Overall NBA Live 08 on PSP is a solid addition to the series, and definitely improves on what we saw from last year’s game. The Crown adds a perpetual accomplishment system that actually does make you want to explore the rest of the game and play modes that you might not otherwise. The online offering adds some solid playability to the game, even if it doesn’t bring the league play of the console versions. While it still plays less like a simulation and more like an arcade game, NBA Live 08 on PSP is fun nonetheless.

GrimGrimoire è un prodotto particolare, di nicchia, capace di conquistarsi l’attenzione di tutti gli amanti degli strategici in tempo reale, ma che difficilmente riuscirà a coinvolgere altre tipologie di giocatori. Alcune scelte discutibili inoltre tendono ad abbassare il valore di un titolo comunque molto articolato e complesso in grado di regalare ben oltre trenta ore (tra missioni principali e secondarie) di divertimento. Consigliato senza remore ai fan del genere, gli altri è il caso che attendano Odin Sphere.
