If you did, and that's you, well – well done. We're not going to fault you for that, as you likely had a blast experiencing the game in its original edition. But for you, along with all the other gamers who've never yet experienced S&P, we're still going to recommend an immediate download. Invest 1200 Wii Points here, and do it quickly. Because Sin & Punishment is an N64 masterpiece, the hardware swansong that Americans never got to hear. And because here on the Virtual Console it looks better and is more accessible than ever before – its newly translated menus and training modes are the first sign of Nintendo taking the time to make a positive revision to an existing retro title before making it available in the Wii Shop, and that it's even been made available at all speaks volumes for the potential of countless other games in the Big N's back catalog that never got the chance to come to the States. Download Sin & Punishment not just because you'll be getting an outstanding game, but also because you'll be voicing your support for the addition of more import titles to the Virtual Console in the future. Nintendo's made a wise decision in offering this product to American gamers, finally, after such a long time. Let's just hope they keep it up, and that we don't have to wait for the next major import release for another seven years.

Sony has managed to get the balance between mini-games and basketball right for a second year in a row, which is truly incredible. The addition of four new and amusing mini-games are a lot of fun, and the additional depth that was added to Conquest mode makes the feature more engaging than ever before. The new focus on downloadable content, particularly with additional pinball boards is pretty cool as well. While there haven't been a lot of fixes to the gameplay, the added player chemistry does strengthen the traditionally weaker court action. Overall, NBA 08 is a nice follow up to last year's impressive title.

Nonostante il comparto tecnico sia ben lontano dai livelli di eccellenza, Stuntman Ignition è un titolo dal gameplay originale, in grado di regalare momenti di svago e una carica dose di divertimento, anche se di breve durata vista la sua esigua longevità. Se vi è piaciuto il primo capitolo, il secondo è caldamente consigliato: aggiungerà nuovi veicoli, ambientazioni e tecniche, pur mantenendo la stessa idea di base, senza deludere i giocatori che vi si avvicinano per la prima volta. Tuttavia è bene ricordare i limiti intrinseci di una struttura che fa del Trial & Error la sua filosofia principale, rischiando di annoiare ben più di un giocatore. In definitiva un esperimento gradevole, un titolo fuori dai soliti schemi ludici e difficilmente catalogabile, promosso per il suo approccio originale e la cura nel confezionamento. Stuntman Ignition è in grado di portare l'utente su credibili set cinematografici ed impegnarlo con un notevole grado di sfida.

Unfortunately, this game isn't for Grandma and little Jane, which is unfortunate, since this could have been the ultimate party game. Sure, getting another few people around the TV is infinitely more enjoyable than the single-player experience, but figuring out the precise hook patterns to overcome the dynamic lane conditions can be overly intimidating. With a little bit of patience, and general ignorance of the laughable presentation, graphics, and sound, there is a fairly deep bowling simulation under the surface of it all. Just don't expect the same experience as the arcade-ish Wii Sports and it will be harder to get disappointed – but not impossible.

Cette adaptation PS3 du hit PSP est avant tout décevante. On pointera du doigt l'évolution de gameplay qui énerve plus qu'autre chose. Ce choix des développeurs bride donc une bonne partie du plaisir qu'on pourra ressentir en découvrant cet univers enchanteur. Dommage d'autant qu'on ne comprend pas vraiment cette volonté de modifier un concept de base simple et efficace. Quoi qu'il en soit, à moins de trois euros, Cocoreccho pourra se laisser découvrir même s'il n'arrive pas à la cheville de son modèle.

Despite being the best game in the series because of some lovely visuals and good gameplay enhancements, The Settlers: Rise of an Empire still manages to screw enough things up to be aggravating. The game is decent to be sure and borders on being a truly good game, but a lack of trade and diplomatic functionality are absolutely frustrating on top of a very basic combat design that isn’t good enough for the amount of combat forced upon players. The huge problem, of course, is the save and crash bugs that can keep you from finishing some of the long missions. If you’re willing to deal with the bugs and like charming town building games like this one, it’s definitely worth a try. We at least recommend giving the demo a look.
