Lost in Random: The Eternal Die è un roguelite tutto basato sulle sinergie tra armi, potenziamenti e meccaniche a disposizione del personaggio, che crea effetti molto divertenti sulla partita e che si gioca su un sistema di power up da distribuire con intelligenza su una griglia. Il nuovo corso del franchise è davvero intrigante, e sebbene paghi un po' per la mancanza di spessore e di mistero, è impossibile non ammettere che sia ben riuscito. Infatti, ne avremmo voluto ancora di più! Questa volta il lancio del dado è stato fortunatissimo per Stormteller Games, e la nuova faccia di Lost in Random ci ha convinti pienamente.

Lost in Random: The Eternal Die is a great time for any fan of roguelites. It is, unashamedly, like Hades, but also a seriously fun time that I enjoyed almost every single moment of… aside from some of the glitches I ran into.

È un peccato che non ci sia più casualità ad ogni partita, ma nonostante ciò, vale assolutamente la pena (considerando anche il prezzo budget) passare un po' di ore a tirare i dadi con Aleksandra. PRO Funzionamento delle reliquie davvero intelligente | un fantastico Roguelite con combattimenti divertenti | armi divertenti da utilizzare | Bellissima art e sound design ... CONTRO ... anche se una maggiore diversificazione non avrebbe guastato | avremmo gradito una maggiore casualità fra una partita e l'altra

The Nintendo Switch 2 is officially off to the races, and Mario Kart World is a great way to get things started. The first brand-new Mario Kart in a decade makes huge changes to the established formula, but ironically, the best parts about it closely follow the blueprint of every entry that’s come before: unbeatable local multiplayer racing on well-designed tracks that more than live up to the series’ legacy. World’s tight controls, celebratory soundtrack, and universal polish marvelously complement the action, and I can’t wait to see how top players will take full advantage of its exciting parkour mechanics in the months and years ahead. The way Nintendo built 30 courses into an interconnected series of highways is undeniably impressive, too, but Mario Kart’s first attempt at an open world is also fairly uneven across its variety of modes. The clear standout among the new ways to play is Knockout Tour, a thrilling battle royale that makes the best use of World’s intertwined roads. But when you add in frustrating online multiplayer limitations and some head-scratching design decisions around the interface and unlockables that will hopefully be fixed in future updates, World feels like it was hit with a blue shell right before the finish line. Still, Mario Kart World’s chassis is so strong that, with a few key tune-ups, I’m confident it will eventually end up popping champagne in victory lane.

Mario Kart World è il capitolo più ambizioso della serie, capace di portare una ventata di freschezza con l'eccezionale modalità Sopravvivenza e un gameplay accessibile e divertente. L'idea di un mondo interconnesso è un passo audace che amplia le possibilità di esplorazione, anche se l'open world risulta un po' scarno e alcune integrazioni appaiono disordinate. Nonostante queste imperfezioni, il titolo si conferma solido e coinvolgente, capace di offrire ore e ore di intrattenimento soprattutto in compagnia. Non ancora il Mario Kart definitivo, ma un passo importante verso qualcosa che potrebbe diventarlo - anche solo con aggiornamenti mirati e DLC.

When its performance is stable and you’re explosively blasting your way through robots, MindsEye can masquerade as a serviceable action shooter for a few minutes at a time. Its near-future setting and driving feel also impress. However, its flashy graphics and cinematics can’t otherwise hide its distinct lack of substance. High on ambition but low on original ideas, MindsEye’s rigid mission design renders its open world largely pointless – and it’s consistently undermined by vanilla combat, janky AI enemies, and its sloppy frame rate and bugs. Throw in its insultingly unfinished free roaming component and it’s clear it was simply not ready to be released. If you had your sights set on MindsEye, think again.

No Man's Sky - Nintendo Switch 2 Edition brings this excellent, constantly evolving space survival adventure to your new Nintendo console in fine style. This is an almost-perfect match for other versions of the game, barring some very minor hiccups here and there.

Yakuza 0 is the best of the traditional-styled Yakuza games, with the most complex story and interesting characters of the lot. It's also the ideal place for newcomers to get started with this weird and wonderful series.

Kunitsu-Gami was a real surprise. A solid blend of strategy and action that incorporates aspects of Shinto and Japanese folklore to create a visually stunning experience. It's a great showcase for Switch 2, even if mouse controls might not quite work for everyone.
