Destiny 2: The Witch Queen represents the best expansion that Destiny has ever received – from the fantastic campaign to its world-class raid to the new abilities and weapons that will forever change the way I fight on battlefield. I didn’t think it possible, but by God, Bungie actually managed to tell an impressively good story in Destiny alongside all that too, and that just warms my Stasis-frozen heart. I still wish they showed more love to competitive multiplayer and Gambit, which badly need help due to the severe neglect they’re currently experiencing, and the presence of bugs and performance issues is troubling in a shooter that usually has few hiccups – but overall The Witch Queen has put a big, stupid grin on my face that I don’t see going away any time soon.
