Preso come esperienza single player è, invece, meno incisivo, estetica a parte, visto che fa poco di diverso da molti concorrenti. Insomma, se siete alla ricerca di un nuovo Limbo rischiate di restare parzialmente delusi, lì dove, paradossalmente, troverete un'esperienza soddisfacente se volete mettere alla prova i vostri riflessi e non vedete l'ora di battere in velocità qualche sconosciuto online.

This is a game that hands you a hammer in the first thirty seconds, then introduces new and exciting nails for the next ten hours. A simple analogy, sure, but it works as beautifully as the game itself. Bionic Bay is one of those rare experiences that has such confidence in itself that it doesn’t need to muddy the water with bloat and uncertainty – it is precisely what it is, and what it is is excellent. Take a mystifying workplace accident, a rock solid visual identity and a hefty industrial soundscape, throw them together and serve on a bed of platforming mechanics that just refuses to quit.

L'aggettivo che meglio di qualsiasi altro potrebbe descrivere Blue Prince è “immenso”. Un puzzle game procedurale, di natura roguelite, reinventato a partire dalle meccaniche dei giochi da tavolo e trasformato in videogame dal fattore esplorativo entusiasmante, il quale invita a prendere carta e penna per avere sempre a disposizione gli indizi necessari a risolvere gli enigmi. Le sfide poste sulla scacchiera della magione di Mt. Holly si svelano con naturalezza lasciando ammirare non solo l'estrema varietà ed eleganza dei rompicapi, molti dei quali connessi direttamente alla stessa struttura di gioco, ma anche una quantità incredibile, a tratti inquietante, proprio come una narrazione corposa che non teme di trascendere i limiti della realtà.

With The Extrication, I think the Bridge Curse series may have found its niche in horror gaming, if not yet its ideal execution. The game’s four central characters are injected with a bit more personality than the last time around, making them more relatable to the player. And even without its unintentional B-movie lip sync issues, the localization is, on the whole, well done without taking itself too seriously, bolstering the already improved pacing and storytelling. However, it’s not all roses yet, as forced stealth gameplay segments remain and aren’t much fun, and outside of a number of jump scares, the horror elements still feel somewhat restrained, even if the overall atmosphere is heading in the right direction. It’s not bad by any means, particularly if the prospect of rarely explored cultural urban legends sounds appealing, but even with the improvements shown here, it has a way to go if it ever wants a chance at being top of the class.

Blue Prince è un videogioco d'autore strutturato come un enorme iceberg: all'inizio se ne scorge solamente la vetta, ovvero l'anima posta a metà strada fra roguelite e puzzle game, che già di per sé si porta appresso una forte ventata di freschezza. Poi, però, l'opera di Tonda Ros inizia ad aprire senza sosta strati di profondità inediti fino a stravolgere il modo stesso in cui si osserva l'ambientazione, impartendo continuamente nuove lezioni e trovando anche il modo di aggiungere colore tramite il quadro narrativo. L'avventura del principe è un marchingegno artigianale curato con l'attenzione propria dell'ossessione, ma le manca giusto una manciata della polvere magica che ha reso tali i capolavori del genere.

Loin d’être sans défaut, Indiana Jones et le Cercle Ancien est une véritable lettre d’amour à la saga, peu importe le support. Mais c’est bien sur PS5 que vous aurez l’édition console la plus aboutie et donc la meilleure à ce jour. Bien que la compatibilité avec la DualSense aurait pu être encore meilleure, MachineGames a fait l’effort d’intégrer le retour haptique et les gâchettes adaptatives de la manette pour une immersion accrue. Le studio a également fait en sorte que les limites graphiques et techniques du jeu soient repoussées sur PS5 Pro. En résumé, un portage réussi qui va ravir tous les fans de cette licence culte.
