Pur non raggiungendo le vette delle precedenti creazioni di Davey Wreden, Wanderstop offre una pausa contemplativa dal frenetico panorama videoludico attuale e si rivela un'esperienza contrastante, come d’altronde era normale attendersi dalla nuova fatica dell’autore di The Stanley Parable. La meccanica di preparazione del tè, inserita in un contesto narrativo che esplora tematiche come la voglia di rinascita e la crisi d'identità, funziona per buona parte del gioco, anche se tende a perdere slancio nelle fasi finali. Il gioco brilla comunque per una scrittura intelligente e personaggi ben caratterizzati (eccetto, forse, la protagonista), supportati da un'estetica accattivante e da una bellissima colonna sonora. Ne esce un "cozy game" di nicchia che dividerà non poco, tra chi lo considererà troppo lento e ripetitivo e chi, invece, lo troverà piacevolmente diverso e rilassante.

Peut-être pas aussi excellent qu’un Castle Crashers, Big Helmet Heroes n’en reste pas moins un bon petit beat’em up par un studio français qui ne manque pas de charme. Avec une certaine variété dans ses personnages jouables comme dans ses niveaux et son bestiaire, le soft offre une bonne dose de fun, tout en étant relativement véloce dans son feeling, qui ne nous a pas décroché une seconde de notre manette. S’il ne manque pas de qualité même sur ses nombreuses références qui font chaud au cœur, le titre attrape le syndrome de la répétitivité à travers des éléments de gameplay qui ne se renouvellent pas, quelques bugs, mais aussi sa facilité déconcertante qui pourra décevoir. Tout cela entache vraiment l’expérience, d’autant que le titre reste un poil court, et ne propose pas de coopération en ligne. Néanmoins il faut l’admettre, Big Helmet Heroes reste une bonne expérience.

Atelier Yumia: La alquimista de los recuerdos y la tierra imaginada es una de las entregas más ambiciosas y completas de esta longeva franquicia. Su renovado sistema de combate, la libertad de exploración y la incorporación de nuevas mecánicas como la construcción de bases le otorgan un aire fresco a la saga. Aunque algunos aspectos, como la dificultad inicial y la complejidad del sistema de alquimia, podrían haberse pulido más, el resultado final es un JRPG muy solvente que promete largas horas de exploración, combates y progresión. Y, por primera vez, en castellano.

In the heat of the action, FragPunk feels great. The hilariously mad Shard Cards make every round distinct, and with so many potential combinations, it is hard to imagine its signature game mode growing tiresome any time soon. It’s just a shame that the economy and reward systems built around it are such a mess, and the unlockables that you are supposed to work towards earning aren’t very interesting. It’s still exciting to play, especially when all eyes fall on you in a match-ending Duel – but when the thrill of victory alone loses its luster, there isn’t a compelling reason to stick around for the long haul unless what you earn and how you earn it changes significantly.

A couple of microtransaction-fueled missteps aside, WWE 2K25 is really the best wrestling game since… WWE 2K24, which was also pretty great. It looks fantastic, still feels good, and there’s a lot of it, including small but welcome updates like intergender matches or bigger updates like the new MyRise and Showcase modes. It’s an upscale wrestling buffet, if you will: It’s pretty scrumptious, there's a wide selection of dishes on the table, and you could spend an awful lot of time in the squared circle if you’re not careful. Speaking of, I need to get back to it. I have some more Showcase things to unlock, Universe is calling my name, and… well, you get the idea.

With a string of improvements across all its existing modes, WWE 2K25 outdoes its predecessor in pretty much every way. The weak link is the new Island mode with its cynical pay-to-win mechanics, but throw a Cena taunt in its face and pretend it doesn't exist and you'll find more than enough elsewhere in the game to keep you entertained for months.

WWE 2K25 refines its core gameplay with improved stamina mechanics and engaging match types like Bloodline Rules but plays it too safe. While enjoyable, its outdated animations and monetization issues hold it back from being a true evolution.

I feel like I’m repeating myself each year at this point, but the moment-to-moment gameplay in 2K25 is the best the series has ever seen. A packed roster of gorgeously animated wrestlers can be used across a suite of varied and enjoyable match types and modes that give new and returning players a range of options. The changes made to returning modes like Showcase and MyGM mostly improve the package, and the existing systems continue to shine. However, despite The Island being an addition to the product that can (and should) be ignored, it’s an invasive shift towards monetisation that this series has largely managed to avoid up until now, and it’s a move that fans of the series should keep a wary eye on.

Le début d'une dynastie ? Cela fait plus d'un demi-siècle que la lignée samoane Bloodline règne sur la WWE : Dwayne Johnson, les familles Fatu et Anoa'i de Roman Reigns peuvent témoigner. Avec The Island et un monde ouvert intéressant, WWE 2K25 veut relancer son arbre généalogique. C'est un cap, mais avec une marge de progression importante pour ce mode ambitieux. Ce dernier ne dispose pas d'une carte malgré sa richesse, un matchmaking bancal et un besoin de VC (la monnaie virtuelle) quasi indispensable pour être compétitif en ligne. C'est un premier pas vers les sommets, déjà atteints en termes de durée de vie : les modes de jeu et possibilités de personnalisation sont toujours gargantuesques pour impressionner les nouveaux-venus. De bon augure pour l'avenir de la violente saga.
