The experience of playing this title is one of roller coaster highs and lows. At first, it seems like the new bad game everybody should check out. It’s so gormless in its stupidity that it’s endearing. Through extended play, those scales drop from the eyes and the blissful ironic joy gives way to tedium as the player prays to their deity of choice that they don’t run into a bug that renders the scenario unwinnable. With fixes to the pathfinding and spawning, Heavy Fire: Red Shadow would be an honest to goodness hilarious arcade style classic, intentionally or not. As it stands, only the most patient should climb behind the gun.

LEGO Superheroes 2 adds more characters, references, and story to the previous entry while remaining to stand still is most other regards. Plenty of fun with friends or hunting down that last objective, but when left to your own devices, you might find yourself deviating.

Each aspect of Black Ops 4 introduces some great new ideas that continue to evolve the series. Active healing in multiplayer gives players more control and, paired with Specialists, it makes for a great tactical experience. The new heist mode is a wonderful palate cleanser, too. Zombies thrives from having more than just two launch maps; the beginner mode is a fantastic way to ease in to the tense action, while Rush keeps the maps feeling fresh. Blackout is the most exciting of the three, though. Instead of bringing some crazy twist to battle royale, Treyarch smartly uses the format to combine past Black Ops offerings into a fun, hectic mode that entices us to jump in over and over again. Black Ops 4’s rough edges do hold it back from an even better execution of its best moments, but when you’re not experiencing those technical issues, any of Black Ops 4’s three modes make for an enjoyable shooter experience that feel distinct and personalized.

The best Call Of Duty of the generation and while some will bemoan the lack of a story campaign, it’s hard to argue with the quality and quantity of content on offer.

Il est désormais extrêmement rare pour les fans de jeux de catch d'avoir le choix. Ils ne doivent donc pas bouder leur plaisir. D'autant plus que Fire Pro Wrestling World propose une alternative vraiment intéressante aussi bien en termes de réalisation, de ton, de gameplay ou encore de modes de jeu proposés. Fire Pro Wrestling est une série très réputée chez les joueurs fans de catch et ce nouvel épisode permet aisément de comprendre pourquoi. Dommage que quelques bugs grossiers et gênants viennent assombrir un tableau pourtant très réussi dans son ensemble.

SoulCalibur est de retour, qu'on se le dise. Certes tout n'est pas parfait et on pourra regretter l'aspect technique daté du jeu, mais ce sixième épisode a su renouveler avec intelligence le gameplay de la série. Plus dynamique que le précédent épisode, il met en scène des combats hyper nerveux et remplis de suspense, et devient vite addictif. Et le jeu a largement de quoi sustenter notre soif de combat, avec les modes Balance de l'Âme et Chroniques de l'Âme très complets… tout du moins, si vous avez la patience d'enchaîner les dialogues interminables qui auraient été plus à leur avantage dans de véritables scènes cinématiques. Quoi qu'il en soit, si vous êtes un fan de la série, ce SoulCalibur VI n'attend que vous.

Dark Souls Remastered livre une expérience de jeu satisfaisante, maniable, aux performances très honorables pour le hardware de la Switch. Si le titre est disponible depuis bien des années sur de nombreux supports, c'est dans la portabilité de cette édition que réside son plus grand intérêt. Pouvoir emporter un Souls partout avec soi justifie l'idée de vouloir redécouvrir ou découvrir pour la toute première fois cette sombre perle de l'Action-RPG.

Soulcalibur VI vuole fare affezionare gli appassionati. E ci prova in tutti i modi dando tantissimi contenuti, diverse modalità, ed offrendo un gameplay davvero interessante. Divertimento e longevità sembrano essere le parole d’ordine di un titolo che possiamo sicuramente consigliare ai vecchi appassionati ma anche a chi desidera avvicinarsi a questo genere di giochi. Il grado di sfida è senza dubbio ben dosato, le due modalità Storia sono molto ricche, soprattutto la Bilancia dell’Anima che permette al nostro alter ego di essere protagonista e di scoprire tante notizie e molta storia del mondo di Soulcalibur. Il gameplay offre una buona varietà di mosse ed è molto divertente. Tecnicamente il gioco ci è piaciuto parecchio. Magari non è perfetto ma è sicuramente interessante e rarissime volte ha delle sbavature. Una cosa che non abbiamo molto compreso, visto gli attuali hardware, la presenza di troppi caricamenti. Divertente soprattutto in compagnia, il gioco offre anche modalità online con partite amichevoli e match classificati. Consigliamo moltissimo Soulcalibur VI che ci ha colpito comunque per la immediatezza del gameplay (tante mosse ma non troppo complicate da eseguire) e per la spettacolarità di alcune sue mosse. Senza fronzoli ma concreto e non per questo meno succoso, grazie soprattutto alle tante storie che si intrecciano. Ottimi tutti i personaggi del roster mentre le due modalità Storia ci sono piaciute parecchio.

LEGO DC Super-Villains is definitely one of the best in the series, with many improvements that not only build on the strengths of the previous titles but also fixes some of the issues they faced. The massive change to player-created characters and the star-studded voice cast makes the game significantly more enjoyable and offers much more replayability than previous titles. LEGO DC Super-Villains may very well end up becoming the benchmark for future games in the franchise.
