You’d better have a good memory if you don’t want to spend hours reading through long blocks of text over and over again in Chronique des Silencieux, searching for that one piece of information that just might connect to or contradict another. The good news is that it’s all presented in a beautiful, evocative period setting with interesting characters, providing enough motivation to keep digging into their backgrounds. Sadly, the occasional graphical glitch, faulty translation and overly demanding deduction requirements make the gameplay experience much harder than it should be. Pierre Feuille Studio has the right idea and introduces a great concept for detective games, but they should have tested and polished it up further before releasing. To their credit, during my 14-hour playthrough they released several updates that gradually improved certain issues, making the third part of the game smoother than the first two. It still wasn’t perfect, but it’s moving in the right direction, so here’s hoping it will get there so more people can enjoy the intriguing elements lurking beneath the surface.

Berserk Boy emerges as a standout 2D platformer that beautifully marries fast-paced action with deep narrative elements and vibrant visuals. The game excels in creating a dynamic and engaging gameplay experience through the introduction of Berserk Orbs, offering players a variety of elemental suits with unique abilities. While it excels in presentation and the initial gameplay experience, some aspects, like the underutilized elemental suits and challenging navigation, indicate areas for growth in future entries.

Expeditions: a MudRunner Game è un gioco davvero bello, naturalmente simile a SnowRunner e MudRunner eppure al tempo stesso diverso, più gentile, intrigante, caldo. Lo abbiamo provato su PC dove non abbiamo avuto nessun grosso problema e ci siamo lasciato totalmente assorbire dalla sua rinnovata veste grafica. Guidare sulle pareti rocciose, scalarle a forza di verricello, mappare preventivamente la zona col drone, usare il binocolo per scoprire nuovi segreti, è un'esperienza che non possiamo che consigliare a tutti. A patto che vi piaccia andare piano, procedere meticolosamente attraverso un terreno che può mettervi fuori gioco in qualsiasi momento. Expeditions: a MudRunner game è unico, in una serie già di suo inimitabile.

As much as I enjoyed nurturing my digital garden, I got a bit burned by the game’s Western European design. At present, there’s DLC that supplies recycled decorations such as fairy lights made from plastic bottles and tires that enjoy a second life as planters. But if you’re looking to duplicate the Hanami of Shinjuku Gyoen or Ueno Park or the horticultural allures of Singapore’s Gardens by the Bay, you might have to look elsewhere for your botanical pleasures.

È doloroso non poter premiare di più New Star GP. Il gioco è davvero solido, ben congegnato, divertentissimo, per certi versi infinito nella sua struttura che si rigenera ad ogni stagione. Ma mancanze e sbavature sono troppo ingombranti per far finta di niente. Speriamo solo che questo non vi faccia cambiare idea, perché se nella vita vi ha appassionato anche un solo racing game, New Star GP è il gioco che vi meritate, di cui non pensavate di avere bisogno.

Reveil convence con un thriller de terror psicológico digno de ese nombre. Pixelsplit juega muy bien sus bazas para crear una zona de confort que poco a poco va destruyendo hasta dejar al jugador desnudo y expuesto ante su parte más descarnada

Indie developer Zu Ehtisham layers the references thickly, offering nods to Mega Man, Azure Striker Gunvolt, and even Sonic the Hedgehog. But despite the occasional feeling of familiarity, Berserk Boy’s frenzied action is distinctive and delightfully rhythmic. Anyone with an affinity for the 16-bit era should give the demo a go.

I tre Stalker sono giochi figli del loro tempo, un tempo che persino i più giovani hanno iniziato a rimpiangere desiderando esperienze meno guidate, ben più precarie di quelle moderne. E allora eccovi accontentati. Stalker non è perfetto, non lo è mai stato e non lo è nemmeno in questa S.T.A.L.K.E.R. Legends of the Zone Trilogy, ma è un gioco dal carattere unico e un'atmosfera impareggiabile. Se siete alla ricerca di un classico da scoprire o riscoprire, questo potrebbe fare al caso vostro.

The Thaumaturge si presenta come un’esperienza particolare all’interno del vasto panorama dei giochi di ruolo, grazie alla sua trama coinvolgente ma sopratutto grazie a un’ambientazione suggestiva, incredibilmente ben realizzata al contrario del sistema di combattimento forse poco gratificante e stratificato. Nonostante qualche piccolo difetto, come la ripetitività degli scontri e le limitazioni nel doppiaggio inglese, il gioco offre una vasta gamma di quest interessanti e opzioni per i giocatori e le giocatrici desiderosi di esplorare il mondo intricato e misterioso della Varsavia del 1909. Con una colonna sonora coinvolgente e un’eccellente direzione artistica, The Thaumaturge si distingue per la sua capacità di immergere i giocatori e le giocatrici in un’avventura ricca di suspense, magia e intrighi, offrendo un’esperienza indimenticabile per gli/le amanti del genere. Se siete pronti a lanciarvi in un viaggio nel cuore dell’oscurità e dell’occulto, The Thaumaturge è sicuramente un titolo da tenere d’occhio.

Un altro passo del wrestling WWE di 2K nella direzione giusta. Senza strafare, concentrandosi più sul migliorare quanto già presente nelle ultime due edizioni che nel reinventare la ruota, ma con un risultato che è tanto divertente da giocare quanto profondo in termini di contenuti. Basta ridare a Hulk Hogan un volto che lo faccia somigliare davvero a Hulk Hogan e il più è fatto.
