Plus grand, plus intense, plus varié, Rebirth est un titre qui brille par son contenu même s'il ne semble pas avoir trouvé la formule pour articuler narration et exploration. Et au fond, ce n'est bien grave !

Sin apenas cambios en la jugabilidad y el desarrollo, el remake de Brothers logra ofrecer un espectáculo mayor gracias a Unreal Engine 5, aunque no exento de problemas técnicos en el lanzamiento, como notables petardeos y clipping, al menos en PS5. Si lo jugaste en su día, poco nuevo vas a encontrar, y los extras y novedades son un poco flojeras.

Brothers: A Tale of Two Sons Remake è allo stesso tempo un'ottima occasione per i nuovi giocatori e completamente superfluo per chi già conosce l'opera di partenza. Attualmente è il modo migliore per vivere questa splendida avventura, ma allo stesso tempo non aggiunge molto all'originale, se non una maggiore fedeltà grafica. Dire che vi consigliamo sicuramente di giocarci vale per il remake, come varrebbe se stessimo valutando il gioco del 2013. In buona sostanza è un peccato se ve lo siete perso all'epoca e ora avete modo di recuperarlo con un sistema d'illuminazione migliorato e dei modelli 3D più dettagliati. Ma non cercateci niente di più.

Nell'oceano di remastered e remake fini a sé stessi, siamo felici di poter accogliere con entusiasmo il lavoro svolto da Avantgarden su Brothers: A Tale of Two Sons Remake, un rifacimento grafico e sonoro che, a parere di chi scrive, dovrebbe essere lo standard per chi mira a rilanciare le proprie opere sul mercato. Si tratta di una riedizione che trasuda amore per il lavoro svolto da Josef Fares e il suo team, e per questo meritevole di rispetto. Che conosciate o meno l'opera, allo scorrere dei titoli di coda, sarà impossibile non farsi prendere dall'emozione.

Brothers: A Tale of Two Sons Remake es una revisión del original estrictamente visual, que conserva todos los elementos jugables de la obra de Starbreeze de 2013 que nos encandiló. El trabajo de Avantgarden ha sido, por tanto, remozar y modernizar los gráficos respetando al máximo sus mecánicas de juego, por las cuales es tan reconocido y laureado. Esta historia de corte fantástico es algo más que una aventura de puzles, ya que es a través de la coordinación de nuestras acciones con los mandos como conocemos la relación entre estos dos hermanos, utilizando el lenguaje del medio de manera encomiable. Si aún no te has acercado a él, puede ser tu oportunidad.

Brothers: A Tale of Two Sons Remake is a solid retread that occasionally gets in its own way. The graphical and musical overhauls are spectacular, and the emotional heft of the story is intact, but the industry has left the title behind in a lot of ways. The control scheme is still pretty unique, and a rousing success in single-player, but the co-op mode comes with an asterisk. While it's a welcome accessibility inclusion, it fundamentally alters the experience, and not really for the better. Throw in some technical woes and you’re left with a remake that doesn't quite feel up to snuff in a modern setting. However, the core game was incredible for its time, and ultimately remains a moving tale in this refreshed version.

Garden Life: A Cozy Simulator provides a calming experience for garden enthusiasts. Thanks to Stillalive Studios and Nacon, aspiring gardeners now have a new comfort game to enjoy. While performing tasks can be rather tedious there’s much more that the game can offer both visually and creatively.

I try not to compare games to each other when necessary, but I can't help but think that if Wrath: Aeon of Ruin fully released in 2019 rather than in Early Access, it would feel like a much better game. But alas everything Wrath: Aeon of Ruin does, other boomer shooters have done better. It's not a bad game by any means, but why settle for bog standard?

Balatro è un roguelite ispirato al poker che non possiamo non consigliare agli amanti del genere. Denso di contenuti e sfide da completare, ha un gameplay dinamico, più strategico di quanto si potrebbe pensare per un gioco basato anche sulla fortuna e un'estetica piacevole, sebbene un po' ripetitiva. Di tanto in tanto la sfortuna ha la meglio e bisogna accettarlo, ma questo ci farà venir voglia di fare una partita in più.
