Killer Klowns from Outer Space: The Game non è un gioco orrendo, ma è uno di quelli che ha poco da opporre ai rivali per distinguersi, tra equilibri non proprio perfetti, un gameplay derivativo e tanti problemi più o meno gravi. Insomma, è il classico gioco lanciato per provare a fare cassa inseguendo un genere amato, niente di più, niente di meno. Difficilmente se ne parlerà ancora tra qualche mese... sempre che non diventi un titolo di culto come il film da cui è stato tratto.

Metal Slug Attack Reloaded removes some of the worst bits of the original mobile game’s mechanics, but the scaled-back roster and brutal difficulty spikes highlight the excessive grinding needed to make these kinds of games profitable and will probably fail to satisfy any but the most hardcore fans of the original. For better or worse, this feels exactly like a mobile game that has been ported to the Switch, warts and all.

With its substantially enhanced graphics and more flexible twin-stick control setup, Luigi’s Mansion 2 HD is undoubtedly the definitive version of Luigi’s second apparition-filled adventure. If you’re a newcomer to the series – or perhaps you only came onboard with Luigi’s Mansion 3 and are working your way backwards – then there’s plenty of ghostbusting and puzzle-solving fun for you to find in Luigi’s Mansion 2 HD’s five haunted houses. However, if you’re a fan of the original Nintendo 3DS version and you were hoping for more dramatic gameplay changes or additions, then you may well be a touch disappointed. What’s more, playing this remaster in the wake of the third game may put its limitations in an unfavourable light. All told, though, Luigi’s Mansion 2 HD is a great installment in Nintendo’s spectre-snaring series, even if it’s not the best one you can play on the Switch.

Super Monkey Ball Banana Rumble es un buen paso adelante en la saga, con pocos cambios pero muy acertados: el movimiento Spin Dash enriquece la jugabilidad y su muy flexible dificultad garantiza desafíos endemoniados sin que nadie se frustre. Súmale modos multijugador generalmente divertidos y la diversión está garantizada todo el verano.

Si vous cherchez la meilleure façon de découvrir Beyond Good & Evil aujourd’hui, n’allez pas plus loin. Cette édition 20th anniversary est bien la version ultime du classique d’Ubisoft, que ce soit en termes de technique ou de bonus ! Les aventures de Jade et ses amis ont même surprenamment bien vieilli, réservant même en 2024 une épopée dense, prenante, bien rythmée et où le mot “aventure” prend tout son sens (exploration, action, course, etc). Après, avec les années, il y a bien quelques trucs qui sont un peu datés. Les nouveaux venus pesteront par exemple devant quelques énigmes / passages dérobés qui ne vont pas toujours de soi. Pour le reste, même l’étrange nouveau visage de Double-H n’enlève rien à la beauté d'Hillys et à la conspiration passionnante qui s’y cache… Un jeu vidéo culte, c’est sûr.

Puede que Luigi's Mansion 2 HD no esté al nivel de otras remasterizaciones y remakes como Metroid Prime Remastered o Paper Mario: La Puerta Milenaria, pero ni siquiera eso impide que siga siendo un clásico atemporal que merece la pena descubrir si no lo jugaste en Nintendo 3DS... o revivir, si ya lo hiciste.

Luigi's Mansion 2 HD è, in generale, un'opera di alto livello. L'interazione e i controlli sono lodevoli, l'atmosfera gestita bene, le cinque ambientazioni trovano il giusto - e complicato - equilibrio tra coerenza e varietà, gli enigmi molto spesso risultano ingegnosi e ben strutturati. Ci sono alcune imperfezioni qua e là, qualche sbavatura nel level design: le confuse fasi con Luigi in equilibrio precario, certi effetti sonori poco riusciti, le morti troppo punitive. Il problema principale, tuttavia, è l'origine portatile del gioco: la strutturazione in missioni, già divisiva di per sé, perde ulteriormente senso su un'ibrida come Switch. Il multiplayer con più console, e l'assenza di quello cooperativo, sono limitanti. Lo stile grafico è troppo simile a quello del terzo episodio, l'inferiorità tecnica palese; e questo nonostante i miglioramenti introdotti. Paradossalmente, tuttavia, la suddivisione in missioni, che troviamo poco funzionale in questa nuova dimensione ibrida, è anche ciò che lo rende unico all'interno della saga, e quindi interessante per un appassionato.
