Alors qu’Hello Neighbor semble tout simple, voire un peu simplet, pour certains joueurs il a le mérite de proposer des mécaniques de jeu plutôt intéressantes, notamment en ce qui concerne la cartographie des lieux, la discrétion dont il faut faire preuve, la recherche perpétuelle d’indices. Et s’il avait déjà plu à la majorité sur les autres plateformes de jeu, il saura se faire une place également dans la bibliothèque des joueurs possédant une Nintendo Switch tant le portage est vraiment satisfaisant et convaincant.

You could call Salt and Sanctuary a 2D mashup of Dark Souls and Castlevania, and you'd be right. But such a simple pronouncement would be a disservice to the tremendous amount of thought that's gone into Salt and Sanctuary, whether it's in the graphic style that evokes horror through the style of comic strips or in the intricate web of dungeons and castles serves as it map.

I wanted to like Anamorphine. I really think that gaming as a medium has the potential to tell stories around issues of mental health in unique ways that can bring about awareness and understanding. It’s not even that this game does a disservice to that cause, it just doesn’t add anything new, and despite treading well-worn ground it somehow fumbles at every step. Then it asks for a crisp pineapple for the trouble.

Shining Resonance Refrain è un titolo che esce in un periodo un po’ spento in termini di grandi blockbuster videoludici e nomi altisonanti. Un action rpg come non se ne vedevano da tempo, che unisce una struttura ad aree e un gameplay in tempo reale (quasi fosse un musou) a meccaniche da gioco di ruolo più riflessive e profonde. Si tratta di un’esperienza semplice e divertente, soprattutto se approcciata senza aspettative o particolari pretese. La narrazione lascia il tempo che trova, ma un cast simpatico e delle meccaniche di gioco peculiari e divertenti lo rendono un buon gioco se cercate qualcosa per impegnare le vostre sudate giornate estive.

The Lost Child è senza dubbio un ottimo Dungeon Crawler in grado di offrire un'esperienza di gioco piacevole anche se a tratti risulta essere un po' macchinoso. Il titolo riesce ad offrire una trama avvincente, che mette il giocatore sempre al centro dell'attenzione, e vanta anche di un'ottima longevità. Il combattimento e l'esplorazione sono i due punti di forza del titolo, grazie anche alla possibilità di catturare i nemici per aggiungerli nel nostro party. Per un possibile prossimo seguito, da rivedere alcuni aspetti degli enimgmi ambientali e da riscrivere completamente la colonna sonora. Se avete giocato il precedente capitolo non potete non giocare a questo nuovo episodio, che può catturarvi anche grazie al completo cambio di rotta per il gameplay. Se invece state pensando di addentrarvi nel genere Dungeon Crawler per la prima volta, questo titolo può essere una buona base di partenza.
