Shining Resonance Refrain è un titolo che esce in un periodo un po’ spento in termini di grandi blockbuster videoludici e nomi altisonanti. Un action rpg come non se ne vedevano da tempo, che unisce una struttura ad aree e un gameplay in tempo reale (quasi fosse un musou) a meccaniche da gioco di ruolo più riflessive e profonde. Si tratta di un’esperienza semplice e divertente, soprattutto se approcciata senza aspettative o particolari pretese. La narrazione lascia il tempo che trova, ma un cast simpatico e delle meccaniche di gioco peculiari e divertenti lo rendono un buon gioco se cercate qualcosa per impegnare le vostre sudate giornate estive.

The Lost Child è senza dubbio un ottimo Dungeon Crawler in grado di offrire un'esperienza di gioco piacevole anche se a tratti risulta essere un po' macchinoso. Il titolo riesce ad offrire una trama avvincente, che mette il giocatore sempre al centro dell'attenzione, e vanta anche di un'ottima longevità. Il combattimento e l'esplorazione sono i due punti di forza del titolo, grazie anche alla possibilità di catturare i nemici per aggiungerli nel nostro party. Per un possibile prossimo seguito, da rivedere alcuni aspetti degli enimgmi ambientali e da riscrivere completamente la colonna sonora. Se avete giocato il precedente capitolo non potete non giocare a questo nuovo episodio, che può catturarvi anche grazie al completo cambio di rotta per il gameplay. Se invece state pensando di addentrarvi nel genere Dungeon Crawler per la prima volta, questo titolo può essere una buona base di partenza.

Tel cet étudiant en droit qui bachote à la perfection, ressort ses cours avec application, mais se montre incapable de comprendre ce qu'il vient de régurgiter, Chasm aime à rappeler ses inspirations, parfois sans pudeur - Symphony of the Night en tête - mais n'arrive pas à remettre en place les rouages de manière à faire tourner la mécanique qui fait les hits. Si on peut difficilement lui en vouloir sur des erreurs de jeunesse, eu égard à son charme rétro évident et de bonnes intentions, le jeu de Bit Kid n'arrive malheureusement pas à se montrer inoubliable, notamment à cause d'un level design qui ne trouve pas le bon équilibre et de boss qui resteront perdus dans les limbes de notre indifférence.

Earth Atlantis es uno de esos juegos que pronto ponemos en nuestro radar por su estilo visual pero que una vez cae en nuestras manos nos damos cuenta que no sobresale, e incluso suspende, en el resto de facetas. Además, allí donde intenta innovar termina por fracasar. Al final, el título de Pixel Perfex se queda un shoot'em up más, carente de elementos adictivos, personalizables o dinámicos ya que no hay más recompensa que acabar con oleadas de enemigos, y algo más de una veintena de jefes. ¡Ojo!, que esto ya es entretenido, dando para unas 5-8 horas de juego dependiendo de la dificultad seleccionada y la habilidad de cada uno.

Asphalt 9: Legends è il racer arcade mobile perfetto, un gioco che sui dispositivi di fascia alta fa strabuzzare gli occhi tanto è bello da vedere, ma che sotto il cofano di una grafica fluida e spettacolare nasconde una struttura estremamente densa di contenuti, con una carriera enorme, club, eventi speciali e sfide in multiplayer. Il focus sull'accessibilità (estremizzato con la feature TouchDrive, che però rimane opzionale) rende difficile notare vere e proprie differenze fra una vettura e l'altra, questo è indubbio, ma interpretato come un "giro in giostra" fra salti, testacoda, speronamenti in bullet time e nitro che trasformano l'auto in una stella cometa, il titolo Gameloft non teme alcuna concorrenza.

MOTHERGUNSHIP is a great FPS with some laugh out loud dialogue and a deeply entertaining gun crafting mechanic. While the roguelike elements bring the game down, it’s still a delightful little game to fire up during the AAA summer drought.

In a game where everything is random, the player experience will follow suit. I have no doubt that there will be plenty who enjoy their time with Mothergunship. The tone of the story and dialogue is perfectly over the top. The shooting is frantic, and getting a good collection of gun barrels can be exhilarating. Still, there's no guarantee that the next level will produce similarly entertaining results, and that's too hard for me to ignore. Tilting the scales towards chaos can work, but not in the type of game that Terrible Posture Games is crafting. Not in a story campaign that makes players want to move forward. Not in a game based around loot and memorable weaponry. Whey they fail, players are punished by repeated dialogue and stripped of their weapons parts, and it's often not their fault. That's the difference between playing hundreds of hours of blissful repetition and a twenty-hour grind to the finish.

Ricco di sfaccettature, molto ben raccontato e estremamente draconiano nel punire i tuoi errori, This is the Police 2 è senza dubbio un boccone tosto. La componente tattica è abbastanza profonda da richiedere un discreto impegno e la gestione giornaliera vi porterà a scelte e compromessi stimolanti. Tutte la parti del gioco si amalgamano molto bene, anche se forse quelle "raccontate" sono un po' troppo lunghe. Se cercate la sfida benvenuti a Sharpwood.

No Man's Sky è un intenso viaggio sensoriale alla scoperta di un'universo di forme e colori, un tuffo in un'oceano di sfumature arricchito da due anni di update che hanno parzialmente sacrificato la totalità di questa visione ma hanno contribuito a compensare i limiti di uno scenario vittima dei limiti intrinseci di un'impostazione quasi interamente votata alla generazione procedurale. Non a caso lo spettro della frustrante ripetitività resta, tanto da farci sperare che gli update futuri potenzino anche trama, multiplayer cooperativo e combattimento, ma la versione arrivata di fresco su Xbox One rappresenta comunque un'esperienza di ottimo livello, anni luce più avanti rispetto al titolo che è arrivato sul mercato nel 2016.

Titan Quest is an entertaining port that brings back a blast from the past. The gameplay is smooth, the controls are precise, and the skills are pretty cool as well. The texture loading issues and freezes that occasionally happen can be annoying, but they aren't game-breaking. Titan Quest can also be enjoyed solo or with friends.
