The Persistence è un'altra conquista qualitativa nel catalogo di PSVR, un titolo sì imperfetto e privo di grande inventiva, eppure al contempo indubbiamente affascinante, rigoroso e soddisfacente sul piano del gameplay e dell'atmosfera. Un'avventura horror non certo rivoluzionaria né indimenticabile, ma capace di “persistere” per qualche ora all'interno delle nostre console con una buona dose di personalità.

Candle: The Power of the Flame delivers a gorgeously detailed and thoroughly well executed puzzle adventure. From start to finish, the game does an excellent job at keeping the player engaged through its clever functionalities and environmental mechanics. There’s some issues with slow, sluggish movement, but in the face of everything that Candle gets right, this one problem is easy to overlook.

Earth Atlantis è senza dubbio uno sparatutto originale e affascinante dal punto di vista estetico, al netto di qualche semplificazione eccessiva, ed è dotato di una campagna in grado di garantire una buona durata e un consistente grado di sfida man mano che individuiamo e affrontiamo nuovi boss, caratterizzati da un ottimo design. La grafica monocromatica dopo un po' potrebbe però stancarvi, così come la struttura basata su di un'unica mappa piena di ostacoli e barriere, in cui bisogna sperimentare percorsi e idee al fine di trovare la strada giusta. Il gameplay non viene inoltre valorizzato nei suoi aspetti chiave, gli impatti, come invece fanno molto bene altri titoli mobile. Il risultato finale è insomma un prodotto valido e interessante, ma meno brillante e ispirato di quanto ci aspettassimo.

After all these years, Jurassic Park: Operation Genesis is still a fun play. It’s relaxing, tranquil even. The game rarely asks you to micromanage. It would prefer you sit back, crack your knuckles, and say “Yeah. I built that.” It’s a different kind of park builder, one that only wants to make you happy, even if it doesn’t always leave you engaged. If you can dig up one of these coveted red discs, it will be well worth a revisit.
