In uscita il 15 maggio su PC, PS4 e Xbox One, Forgotton Anne è un’avventura grafica in stile anime, una fusione tra Oriente ed Occidente che vi lascerà senza fiato proprio per l’agilità e la semplicità con cui s’intrecciano diverse forme di arte. Nell’opera del team ThroughLine Games troviamo uno stile grafico ed una regia deliziosi ed immersivi, una scrittura che raramente ha raggiunto picchi così alti nel medium videoludico ed un comparto sonoro composto di musiche e doppiaggi eccellenti. La nota dolente riguarda, però, il gameplay: il sistema di comandi è troppo rigido, ed il livello di sfida dei puzzle proposti è pari a zero. Spiace per l’assenza di una localizzazione in italiano, fondamentale per chi non conosce l’inglese, vista l’immensa quantità di dialoghi e l’importanza della storia. Insomma, sarebbe bastato davvero molto poco perché Forgotton Anne diventasse uno dei migliori titoli indie sul mercato. In ogni caso, difficilmente finirà per essere dimenticato.

Hyper Sentinel may well be overly chaotic at the best of times, but there’s no denying that it’s fun, well paced and full of action. There’s a lot of content to work through within and although it does become repetitive before long, it’s still worth its weight in gold. Those that enjoy the roots of this formula will thoroughly enjoy what’s on offer, despite its niggling issues.

Son univers nous aura remplis de rêve le temps de quelques heures et laissera ensuite place à un terrible vide lorsque cette aventure se terminera au terme d’un final à la hauteur de toute son aventure mettant le joueur face à un terrible choix. Les développeurs auront réussi à emporter le joueur en plein cœur d’une aventure narrative dont nous sommes certains d’avoir joué un rôle, on sent un véritable savoir-faire dans cette production. C’est un pari réussi et vivement la suite.

Tra gioie e dolori, considero The Swords of Ditto un gioiellino. Senza troppe pretese, il gioco è riuscito a conquistarmi e farmi passare qualche ora spensierata a vagare tra casette colorate e orrendi zombie vomitanti veleno. Rinnovo il plauso alla co-op locale: ogni gioco che ha il coraggio di proporla al giorno d’oggi merita il mio amore incondizionato.

I’ve never been terrorized, stalked, or fascinated by enemy AI quite like I was in The Forest. It’s a harrowing survival ordeal that knows how to play with tension and create the sense of a real world with complex inner workings and mysteries I was eager to discover. It’s I Am Legend told in the depths of the hinterlands, with a meaningful story progression that doesn’t overstay its welcome. Disregard the warnings on the walls and hidden between the trees at your own peril – and if you want a unique and memorable survival horror experience, then you should absolutely dare to do so.
