Morbid: Lords of Ire is the best kind of sequel. Confounding, different, but also spiritually aligned with its predecessor. It helps that it did not forget to be fun too.

Despite an abrupt ending that kept me wanting more closure, INDIKA’s journey, with its different varieties of gameplay, gorgeous if drearily realistic environments while exploring and playful retro pixel art for the mini-game flashbacks, captivated me from beginning to the credit roll. It’s a story of right and wrong, and realizing that doing what’s expected of you through the doctrine of religion doesn’t safeguard you from evil. It raises the question of whether you should resort to turning “evil” yourself then, and whether all acts can even be categorized that way to begin with when looking at basic needs and survival. Are morals universal or merely a human construct? Is religion an absolute truth or a manipulative tool? While I was expecting quite a controversial game, I was happy to find it isn’t all that in-your-face. It certainly offers food for thought if you like to philosophize, or you can simply play the game, experience the (sometimes disturbing) five-hour story and ignore all the symbolism. I for one will be praying that the developers make more games like this!

Amusant, facile d'accès et jamais retors, Neurodiver se dévore comme un bon roman de gare, un manga. Peu onéreux, on ne voit pas les heures filer. Une chouette aventure.

Trois ans après la sortie de la version Director's Cut sur PS5, Ghost of Tsushima débarque enfin sur PC de la plus belle des façons. À l'image des portages de Horizon : Forbidden West et des Spider-Man, le studio Nixxes parvient une fois de plus à porter l'une des exclusivités de PlayStation avec brio. Avec toutes les options graphiques à la disposition des joueurs, difficile de trouver de meilleures conditions pour profiter du titre de Suckerpunch que cette version PC, à condition d'avoir la configuration qui suit bien évidemment. Un excellent moyen de redécouvrir Ghost of Tsushima en attendant l'annonce d'un éventuel second épisode.

Nixxes se anota otro tanto con el port de Ghost of Tsushima a PC, una de las mejores aventuras de samuráis de todos los tiempos, que ahora resulta todavía más espectacular. Un brillante trabajo que destaca por lo pulido y bien optimizado que está, y que incluso añade opciones que hasta ahora parecían impensables.

There is a lot to love in Neurodiver, and I feel as if my time with it has been a net positive overall. It has a fun, upbeat story, and many lovable characters are in every corner. The gameplay concept is strong, and the visuals are, without question, absolutely top-notch. But it's hard not to feel a little disappointed; I think that's partly a problem with my own heightened expectations, but there are portions of Neurodiver feel lacking and poorly handled to me when I put all of my presumptions aside.

Read Only Memories: Neurodiver feels like a step back from its predecessor on just about every level. The plot is lacking in intrigue and severely underbaked, while the simplistic gameplay offers little challenge. While it's nice to get further detail on the universe of the series, this sequel severely disappoints.

If you’re looking for some pulpy sci-fi with a likable cast, Read Only Memories: NEURODIVER beats most of its contemporary peers in film and television. Like some of the genre’s best works, it’s an exploration into what makes us human. Smartly, the blend of visual novel story-telling and light puzzles balances seriousness with the intermittent instance of childlike playfulness. Likely, this one could generate some positive memories.

Indika est indéniablement l’un des jeux surprenants de cette année 2024. Disposant d’une esthétique soignée en plus d’une écriture et d’une narration vraiment efficace et prenante, le soft de Odd Meter a frappé très fort pour nous émerveiller. Même sa mise en scène est bien ficelée tout comme son gameplay, proposant un renouvellement constant qui fait bougrement plaisir à chaque fois. Il y aura peut-être des accrocs avec quelques éléments un peu superflus dans le gameplay comme certains aspects de la narration mais qu’importe Indika est un pur OVNI vidéoludique qui questionne de manière intelligente la religion et la découverte de soi. Les joueurs en manque d’expériences originales seront donc servis, d’autant que le titre est tarifé à un prix clairement accessible pour ce jeu particulier.

In realtà non ci sarebbe molto da dire su Men of War II. Il titolo sviluppato da Best Way ricalca da vicino quanto già visto nel primo capitolo, apporta qualche miglioramento e segna un passo in avanti dal punto di vista tecnico, ma si tratta sempre di un ottimo RTS, tanto profondo quanto poco accomodante. Il nostro consiglio è quello di non arrendervi davanti alle prime difficoltà e di chiudere un occhio sulle evidenti imprecisioni dell'interfaccia e dei comandi, perché superati questi due ostacoli ci si ritrova con fra le mani uno strategico capace di regalare non poche soddisfazioni.
