Al netto di qualche trascurabile incertezza, Sword Art Online: Fatal Bullet vanta il più frenetico ed appagante gameplay fra quelli proposti finora dai vari episodi della saga di casa Bandai Namco. Ciononostante, la scarsa longevità della trama, la scelta di presentare un protagonista muto e anonimo, mettendo in secondo piano gli amatissimi personaggi del cast originale, impediscono al giocare di lasciarsi trasportare da un intreccio narrativo abbastanza piatto e ridondante, facilitandone il prematuro abbandono. Gli appassionati di Sword Art Online, da tempo desiderosi di mettere piede in GGO, e gli affezionati dell’altrettanto interessante saga ludica, potrebbero infine trovare pane per i loro denti, ma chiunque sia invece alla ricerca di un TPS più tradizionale, farebbe meglio a rivolgere l’attenzione altrove. Per quanto il risultato finale ci abbia un po' delusi, dal sentiero imboccato stavolta da Dimps e Bandai Namco traspare la chiara intenzione di migliorare i prodotti ludici ispirati al fortunato brand di Reki Kawahara. E chissà che proprio questo primo passo in avanti non permetta loro di trovare la giusta formula per rendergli la dovuta giustizia.

Sword Art Online: Fatal Bullet isn’t as well rounded as other RPGs. There are far too many loading screens, and the combat will be very hit-and-miss for many. That being said, the game offers a surprising amount of depth in both play and progression. Furthermore, the story remains interesting throughout, and doesn’t at all alienate newcomers. Fatal Bullet may not be perfect, but it’s action-packed, engaging, and immersive, nevertheless.

The focus may be on you and your avatar but sadly Sword Art Online Fatal Bullet relies too heavily on it's source material and won't let you leave the shadow of the series protagonist. Repetitive gameplay, undeveloped systems and a story that is forgettable leave this entry in the series rather disappointing.

قدمت لعبة SAO: Fatal Bullet العديد من الميزات الرائعة سواء في أسلوب اللعب أو شخصيات مثيرة للاهتمام ومعارك Bosses مميزة وموسيقى تصويرية جيدة، ولكن في المقابل قدمت قصة مملة بعض الشيء في أول 30 ساعة ولكن يبدأ الأمر في التحسن بعد ذلك، وكنت أتمنى لو يتم تحسين مستوى تصميم عالم اللعبة وأيضاً الذكاء الاصطناعي الخاص برفقائك باللعبة، ولكنها بالنهاية ستنال إعجاب محبي السلسلة بلا شك في ذلك.

Sword Art Online: Fatal Bullet ritorna a farci vivere delle storie basate su VRMMORPG, che però non riesce tutt'ora a emulare quelle caratteristiche fondamentali degli MMORPG. Con delle scelte poco coraggiose, il gioco si assesta su un prodotto di nicchia, dedicato ai fan della serie. Qualche piccolo azzardo avrebbe favorito sicuramente il nuovo titolo, che brilla di un'ambientazione davvero ben elaborata, una storia interessante (scritta dal creatore originale) e tante ore di gioco, di personalizzazione dello stile e di sparatorie.

Sword Art Online: Fatal Bullet is fun at times but ultimately struggles to stay relevant to anyone but fans of the series. If you love the show, chances are you’ll love this game but everyone else will likely just plug through the opening hours before moving on to something a bit more interesting. The change of gameplay style and in inclusion of a character creator definitely serve the game well, but I feel like a bit more was needed to get this over the line, especially considering the quality of RPGs we’ve been receiving in the last few years.

En ciertos aspectos, Sword Art Online: Fatal Bullet es un pequeño paso atrás respecto a la anterior entrega, al ofrecer mapas menos interesantes y una historia sosa, pese a plasmar a partir de cierto punto uno de mis arcos favoritos del anime. Aun así, el nuevo estilo de juego me ha gustado bastante, al ofrecer una experiencia muy diferente a la que estábamos acostumbrados en la saga, y que funciona bastante bien. Si se pulen ciertos aspectos como la IA y se ofrece un mejor diseño de niveles y misiones, podríamos estar ante un shooter/RPG muy a tener en cuenta. Tal y como está, es una propuesta divertida, que ofrece bastante contenido a los que quieren completarlo todo al 100%, pero que se acaba haciendo bastante repetitivo muy rápido. Si no os importa tanta repetición y además sois fans de la franquicia, os encontraréis ante un shooter/RPG que os dará muchas horas de diversión.

Juego de notable acabado que disfrutaremos y recordaremos. Una buena compra, muy recomendable para amantes del género. Está bien cuidado a todos los niveles.
