The Station lacks the storytelling it needed in order to justify playing it. The lack of gameplay could have been overlooked if the story was up to snuff, but it just simply isn't. What results is a short, boring experience that will only satisfy the most desperate of sci-fi fans.

The first Bayonetta is slowly showing its age, but its more robust sequel remains at the top of its game. It contains some of the best combat mechanics that are perfectly integrated in the most over-the-top, outlandish scenarios. It’s stylish, frantic and oddly addicting. Unfortunately, the story may as well be non-existent and the voice acting from characters such as the newly-introduced Loki will make you want to skip cutscenes. It doesn’t help when you hear the brat calling Bayonetta “Love” every second sentence and cussing every scene. Regardless, it’s all about the craziness that PlatinumGames usually brings to their games and they’ve hit it out of the park with Bayonetta 2. They refined the formula with the sequel, creating a top-tier action game that shouldn’t be overlooked. It may not be perfect, but this is a solid remaster that more players need to experience, and considering you get two games for the price of one, this ends up being an incredibly appealing package.

In the end, Suicide Guy is a surprisingly goofy romp through the dreams of a typical slob. The story isn't the deepest, but it gets points for subverting expectations and not being a cliche. The variety of level designs and clever methods of completion are refreshing. It provides a fun little challenge without becoming a chore.

What could have been an intriguing, unique, if somewhat underwhelming RPG is completely crippled by a terrible save system and game-breaking bugs. Kingdom Come: Deliverance’s well-publicized adherence to historical accuracy pays off in its thoughtfully designed landscapes and intriguing combat system, even if its survival-style mechanics fall somewhat flat. It’s just a shame that the more positive qualities are doomed to exist within a game that ended up being unplayable.

Pour conclure, Apex Construct est définitivement un vrai jeu VR complet bien sympathique, mais qui reste néanmoins plombé par énormément de défauts. Car malheureusement pour lui, le soft est rattrapé trop vite par sa répétitivité sur ses mécaniques, et ne parvient jamais à sortir des sentiers battus pour proposer quelque chose de différent. L’histoire comme la direction artistique ne sont également que peu inspirées, alors que le début était plutôt encourageant. C’est regrettable, car le gameplay répond bien et sans fioriture – excepté quelques moments -, et nous avons tout de même des combats assez nerveux et fun. Et puis surtout, il s’agit là d’un jeu très complet en VR, et pas seulement une bête expérience comme au tout début de la réalité virtuelle. Pour une première du studio Fast Travel Games, le résultat est loin d’être raté, il est même honorable. Mais cela dit, Fast Travel Games, pour son prochain titre va devoir gommer les quelques imperfections dans le gameplay comme la technique, car les bugs sont hélas légion sur Apex Construct. Néanmoins, pour 29.99 €, le soft a le mérite de proposer un jeu complet, et surtout assez long pour en avoir pour son argent.

Dans les couloirs de The Station aussi sombres et froids que l’univers qui lui sert de manteau, les indices textuels et audiophoniques se collectionnent au fil des zones visitées et des puzzles résolus. S’il n’est qu’un simulateur de marche de plus mettant l’accent sur la recherche, il expose tout de même un scénario intéressant qui repose essentiellement sur le talent vocal de ses acteurs et sur son dénouement final réussi. En définitive, The Station ne déplace pas des planètes, mais la mise en orbite qu’il propose au sein de son univers image parfaitement la mise en perspective que provoquent ses ultimes minutes. There’s something out there.

What there is to say about Monster Energy Supercross is that it is an improvement from Milestone on the MXGP series. It certainly can be gripping and it's more than challenging once you get the settings right. Racing through your own career is pretty fun to say the least. The only thing is that, like other Milestone titles, it has its issues that could do with working through.

Alors oui, Kingdom Come :Deliverance en a beaucoup sous la pédale, et son expérience mérite un bon coup de polish pour exprimer son potentiel à plein régime. Il n’empêche que son achat est à recommander comme une rando sur un terrain miné. Le paysage a beau être beau et le scénario prenant, on a tôt fait de s’exploser une patte sur ses innombrables avaries techniques qui, pour un jeu commercialisé plein pot, frôlent le scandale.

La magie de Mana semble s'être estompée lors du passage à la HD : au-delà des graphismes qui ne seront certainement pas du goût de tout le monde, c'est surtout le rythme ennuyeux des combats et le manque de difficulté qui rendent l'aventure bien plus fade qu'auparavant. Si vous avez aimé l'original et que vous pouvez y rejouer aujourd'hui, alors vous n'avez pas vraiment de raison de vous lancer dans Secret of Mana HD.
