There’s a shining suit of mail underneath Kingdom Come: Deliverance’s authentically medieval grime. Strong characters and storytelling, one of my favorite first-person melee combat systems ever, and special attention given to building moment-to-moment immersion come together as a mighty alloy that ranks among the most unique, memorable RPGs I’ve played in years. While a lack of technical polish occasionally caused me a good deal of frustration having to replay areas due to a bug or poorly-communicated quest objective, it’s the kind of adventure I didn’t hate replaying.

Se avete già giocato Scontri Di-retti, Il Bastone della Verità potrà apparirvi un po' antiquato e limitato in termini di gameplay, specialmente sul fronte dei combattimenti, ma in termini di narrativa è ancora il gioco più esilarante e oltraggioso dei due, una vera e propria lettera d'amore per i fan. È chiaro che chi non ha mai apprezzato la serie TV dovrebbe evitare il gioco come la peste, ma se vi piace South Park e vi siete divertiti con Scontri Di-retti, questa riproposta è semplicemente imprescindibile. Peccato solo che sia stata ritoccata l'interfaccia, senza contare che sarebbe stata veramente un'occasione d'oro per doppiare il gioco in italiano.

Se avete già giocato Scontri Di-retti, Il Bastone della Verità potrà apparirvi un po' antiquato e limitato in termini di gameplay, specialmente sul fronte dei combattimenti, ma in termini di narrativa è ancora il gioco più esilarante e oltraggioso dei due, una vera e propria lettera d'amore per i fan. È chiaro che chi non ha mai apprezzato la serie TV dovrebbe evitare il gioco come la peste, ma se vi piace South Park e vi siete divertiti con Scontri Di-retti, questa riproposta è semplicemente imprescindibile.
