The Making of Karateka è un gradevolissimo documentario interattivo ricco di contenuti e con qualche chicca da giocare. L'interfaccia è ben realizzata (e ormai collaudata), la cura dei filmati è notevole e la quantità di nozioni presentate risulta alla fine molto apprezzabile, sebbene magari qualche approfondimento sulla tecnologia dell'epoca non avrebbe guastato. Un acquisto consigliatissimo sia ai patiti di Karateka, sia a chi desidera aggiungere un gustoso pezzo di cultura videoludica al proprio curriculum.

Sea of Stars a tout de l'excellent hommage aux plus grands noms du jeu de rôle japonais des années 90. Une histoire bien rythmée, un casting de personnages auquel on s'attache vite pour leurs personnalités assumées. Il arrive à faire le même travail d'émerveillement que ses modèles, grâce à sa direction artistique à couper le souffle et sa bande-originale parfaite pour l'aventure. Si les combats sont engageants et poussent le joueur à réfléchir à chaque affrontement, ils tendent à allonger la bonne dynamique du titre. C'est surtout par le manque d'évolution de gameplay pour les personnages que les joueurs pourront trouver une certaine lassitude. Si Sea of Stars n'est donc pas autant révolutionnaire que ses maîtres spirituels en leur époque, il devrait tout de même avoir une place de choix sur une étagère de votre ludothèque en 2023. Il risque bien de s'imposer comme le jeu indépendant de l'année si Silksong reste discret voire prétendre à des prix à la concurrence bien plus féroce. Plus qu'une belle performance pour un ovni venu des années 90.

Sea of Stars me ha encantado. No reinventa la rueda ni en lo narrativo ni en lo jugable, pero aporta buenas ideas al género en lo relativo a la exploración y al combate. Es precioso y sus personajes te enamorarán. Es un juego de rol ágil, bien pensado y que te devolverá a los mejores momentos vividos con tus JRPG favoritos de siempre. De lo mejorcito del género que ha salido en los últimos años. Estando de lanzamiento tanto en Game Pass como en el servicio de suscripción de PlayStation, no hay excusa.

La narrativa emergente di Under the Waves vi accompagnerà mentre sarete sott'acqua e poi vi farà tornare il desiderio di riabbracciare la superficie: Stan è un uomo che nasconde il proprio passato, lo ha voluto sotterrare, ma deve farci i conti, soprattutto di notte. Il titolo di Parallel Studio non offre di certo una componente ludica stratificata, ma il suo racconto coinvolgente - legato a un protagonista credibile e sfaccettato - vi spingerà di certo a vivere per intero questo viaggio composto da 7 capitoli.

Samba de Amigo: Party Central non necessita di esecuzioni impeccabili e orecchio assoluto, né di riflessi molto sviluppati (più o meno). La parola “Party” nel nome è una vera e propria dichiarazione di intenti, un messaggio ai festaioli che potranno scatenarsi sia con i propri amici, che allenandosi in solitaria o, ancor meglio, nella modalità online. A prescindere dalla durata del supporto post lancio riservato al titolo, SEGA ha realizzato un’esperienza leggera, con qualche cedimento in fase di registrazione delle note basse e in materia di frame rate, ma assolutamente in grado di regalare ore di divertimento.

Goodbye Volcano High executes solidly on its unique concept, delivering well-etched characters, engaging rhythm challenges, and a collection of memorable original tunes. That said, those looking for juicy high school intrigue will be disappointed, as the game is relentlessly nice, to the point it often lacks drama. We may not know exactly what finished off the dinosaurs, but Goodbye Volcano High comes close to killing itself with kindness.

Trine 5: A Clockwork Conspiracy is an incredible amalgamation of everything the series has done so far, and produces not only the best Trine game yet, but also one of the most enjoyable games I’ve played this year. The freedom we’re granted with the tools on offer is excellent, and combined with stunning presentation, this make Trine 5 utterly essential playing in my eyes.
