Paranormasight: The Seven Mysteries Of Honjo weet dankzij zijn sterke verhaal te boeien, door in het begin heel veel (en tegelijkertijd weer heel weinig) informatie prijs te geven, blijft het mysterie centraal staan. Helaas weet de ietwat onhandige besturing wel het tempo uit de game te halen.

Ce n’est pas toujours évident d’attribuer une note à un jeu vidéo, ni de nuancer son propos. Et on s’en rend surtout compte en testant des productions comme Mato Anomalies, un titre qui essaie sincèrement de proposer quelque chose d’original et de complet, mais qui souffre d’une technique ridiculement décevante, du moins dans cette version Nintendo Switch. Alors évidemment, la technique ne fait pas tout, et bien sûr qu’il est possible de passer au dessus des très réguliers ralentissements ou petits bugs qui gangrènent l’aventure sur la console portable de Big N. Mais s’il vous intrigue, et il y a toutes les raisons pour que ce soit le cas si vous aimez le RPG, notamment grâce à son univers très intéressant, alors on vous conseille surtout de l’essayer sur PC, Xbox ou PlayStation.

Tchia avait un postulat de base vraiment intéressant, la culture de la Nouvelle-Calédonie que je ne connais absolument pas, le bon d'âme qui promettait un gameplay intéressant…. Mais finalement, à part en suivant l'histoire, je n'ai pas franchement passé un agréable moment. J'avais juste envie de me dépêcher de finir la quête principale pour passer à autre chose. À part les épreuves pour augmenter la jauge de bon d'âme et la quête avec les cartes au trésor, je n'ai rien trouvé de bien palpitant dans ce titre. Test rédigé par Billy D.

During the course of Tchia’s tropical adventure, players will experience many great, carefully-implemented ideas. The open world influenced by New Caledonia remains sensitive to its cultural inspirations, the unique soul-jumping mechanic is a joy to use and explore, the boat controls and fully-functional ukulele are overkill in the best kind of way, and the story has both unexpected darkness and humor. Unfortunately, a handful of good ideas can’t save Tchia from running out of steam before the finale and crumbling beneath a wave of performance issues.

Some persistent technical issues that prove frustrating, an uneven campaign, and a formulaic open world can bog down an otherwise wonderful exploration of culture. Nonetheless, Tchia's unique gameplay elements, euphonious music, and often vibrant world make it worth checking out.

Though it has its flaws, Tchia is one of the best open world games I've played in a long time. The variety of things to do in its gorgeous world will keep most any player occupied for the duration of their playthrough, and will almost certainly leave them glad they gave the title a chance. Tchia è un titolo che merita di essere giocato perché, al netto di qualche sbavatura tecnica e di alcune ripetizioni nel gameplay, ha un cuore davvero grande. Ci mette passione, entusiasmo e una storia che vale la pena di essere raccontata. È un gioco che ha chiaro il suo scopo e che prova a dare il massimo in ogni segmento. Le ambientazioni sono bellissime, curate, colorate e donano un grande senso di pace. Un titolo che mette al primo posto la tranquillità e la serenità, anche se vuole raccontare una storia che, sebbene non sia esageratamente lunga, si dettaglia e si sviluppa in maniera più che piacevole. Non siamo davanti al capolavoro del secolo, ma senza dubbio ci troviamo di fronte a una chicca da non perdere e che farà piacere agli abbonati a PlayStation Plus.

Tchia feels really unlike any experience we've ever had with a video game. Full of heart, but occasionally lacking direction, it's a unique experience showcasing the love the dev team has for New Caledonia. Everything about Tchia evokes a wonderful tropical vibe, full of rich history and culture, from the folklore elements of the storyline to the authentic voice acting in New Caledonia's native language, Drehu. Unfortunate bugs let it down and stop players experiencing it to its fullest, but a solid, enjoyable, and ultimately beautiful game is at its core. It's evident that a lot of love has been poured into this really exciting debut from Awaceb, and as a day one PS Plus Extra release, it's bound to bring a lot of joy to a lot of players.

Le voyage de Tchia réserve des moments incroyables en matière de sensations et de dépaysement. L'action n'est pas le point fort du jeu, mais le travail réalisé par une si petite équipe est remarquable.
