Beautiful. Thoughtful. Original. These words could be used to describe Disney and Pixar's latest film Wall-E. Sadly I can't say the same about the game adaptation. The inevitable tie-in manages to contain none of the film's humour, heart or charm which is quite an achievement in itself.

Firstly, I like survival horror games. In my opinion creeping down pitch black, dark industrial corridors filled with gibbering freaks is a pretty good way to unwind, so it is nice to see Condemned 2 delivering on these grounds.

Team Fortress 2 is art. A quick look at the definition of art gives the following: "The conscious production or arrangement of sounds, colours, forms, movements, or other elements in a manner that affects the sense of beauty," In short, Team Fortress 2 is simply astonishing in all of these areas.

Kane & Lynch: Dead Men is a game with a promising pedigree. Developed by IO Interactive, the makers of the widely successful Hitman series and published by Eidos the game shows real potential. The fact that co-op is fundamental to the game is refreshing and reflects the current trend towards working together.

After finally completing Guitar Hero III and allowing my hand to recover, I desperately needed a new fix for my guitar addiction. Tracking down a copy of Guitar Hero II for the 360 was ideal and the choice of an extra guitar or solo copy was also welcome.

I was first introduced to the Condemned series after playing the recently released sequel and decided to find the original, which many claim is a superior title. Condemned: Criminal Origins is now surprisingly old and was amongst the Xbox 360 launch games but largely manages to avoid the curse of becoming a forgotten curiosity.

Well it's been a long while since a true Olympic Games title was bestowed upon the gaming world, where man or woman must delve deep into the core of their soul in order to strive for that coveted gold medal. But here are Eurocom and SEGA ready to carry that torch on forwards in the form of Beijing 2008. By the way, there's no way I am classing Mario & Sonic as a true Olympic title.

Here we are with Tom Clancy's part prequel/part sequel to the rather good Rainbow Six: Vegas, imaginatively titled Rainbow Six: Vegas 2 and before I begin with the proceedings, may I take this opportunity to say that this game may be one of the finest pieces of digital entertainment I have had the pleasure of playing.
